horrible character development.

the choices the main character makes and the choices leaders like the guildmasters make basically bending over for the main character is boring and quite annoying. at first the books were pretty good because there was fear and hardships. now I feel like the character just gets everything handed to him and he is just so cocky and everyone who should be more powerful than him is just bending over for him. in the end if you like that in a character and a story where fights don't mean anything because no one ever loses anything important than this is the book for you.

a lot of the comments said it was like defiance of the Fall. they were wrong as hell! Yes, the world can be like it but that's where it stops. this dude embrace being a monster and an ant!
