Used to really enjoy this series. absolute slog now. half of this book should be in an index on how the systems work. needs way more story and way less descriptions on Zacks way too many skills.

Great pacing and creativity, as is usual for the series. It was a relief that there was some downtime, as well as a sense of loss.
Unfortunately the editor was absent or asleep. Flagrant abuse of, "it begs the question", along with similar jargon, miss understood by novice writers. If this series was given a refresh by a more ruthless, and learned editor it would make strides.

It begs the question, "why not hire a more experienced editor, at this point"?

More insights into the Mystic Realm and Dimensional Seed. Battles and stakes like no other. Travel off planet to start another epic adventure while Zac achieves unprecedented levels of power.

Well read by narrator, well written. This series is great because it takes work. The hero doesn’t get everything just handed to him, he struggles and fights for everything. Beware though through the series he gets into the back story of many different factions. If that’s not your thing move on. But it is done in such a way you either get invested in the persons victories or hope for their defeats. Either way I loved every book

This was my favorite book of the series so far, unexpected turn of events but welcomed.
