But with the help of his close-knit group he prevailed. Life is settling into a familiar routine. And with the help of the US Army, they are starting to rebuild their community. But just when Morgan thinks things are assuming some kind of normal, another surprise lands in his lap.

Makes you think and plan… what if this happened

My 2nd favorite character enters the series in this book (love Sarge’s hard outside and caring inside) Dalton brings a fresh personality. The beginning books are more enjoyable to read than the later books (9-11 series are ok and a good story but less of the original “this could happen to anyone”)
