Outstanding in every way with one flaw.

As I’ve written. I love this book and it is extremely well written but…

Since the Trisolarians were essentially fleeing their home world for Earth because they’re system was so inhospitable, why then would they leave Earth after the broadcast of their home world’s location?

Wouldn’t it make more sense to stay at Earth, since it wouldn’t be attacked first, send as many of their people as possible to Earth, bidding time for the possibility of locating yet another planet to escape to?

Just saying.

I'm only in chapter 13 and I can say that this is truly one of my most loved novel. I won't go into all the details until I finish and then I'll elaborate. For now, however I'll say it is one of the best authentic, realistic, accurate, informative and entertaining novels of it's type of all time.

I've finished the first book here is my review.

I must say that Trackers is even better than I had thought. The fight with the “water cannibals” was so incredible, so real, so well written and read that my heart was beating more than 10 mins later. The ending that followed was perfect. After that fight the listener needed it to calm down and it was a very satisfying end. Kick-Ass.

Kick Ass Ride

Normally I just give the numerical rating and call it a day. However in the case of this novel I make an exception. This story is truly exceptional. From the storyline, to the characters, to the realism, and to any other criteria you rate novels by, this story is outstanding. No matter when you listen to the story it will be a thrill however, I recommend listening to this without any other distractions and with a good amount of time on your hands because it is one kick ass ride of excitement.

I can't believe that I've finished this book already. I'm looking forward to reading it again. I found that I was literally waiting for the next word right till the end. And when it ended I found myself thinking about other ways I might have gone and how that would have toughed at my emotions differently. Still, I love the way it did end and looking forward to part 2.

The best thing about this novel is it's not just entertaining, it truly entertains you. Listening to this is like taking your mind through a very complex, exciting and vigorous video game. From the individual Marine, to commanding huge starships, interplanetary and galactic battles, to politics and more. It's a ride you never want to stop. Mike Resnick wrote that science fiction authors should write at least one galaxy or eons spanning novel, and Galactic Corps is just such a novel. I strongly recommend this for all listeners.
