The narration is terrible
Revisado: 12-27-24
What is a KC one hundred thirty-five? What is a F minus 15? Nanometers are not a unit of distance used in aviation. Stop being cheap, and pay a professional to read this! The content was great, but it was very difficult to listen to due to the narration.

Historia
Four days before Christmas in 1943, a badly damaged American bomber struggled to fly over wartime Germany. At its controls was a 21-year-old pilot. Half his crew lay wounded or dead. It was their first mission. Suddenly a sleek, dark shape pulled up on the bomber’s tail - a German Messerschmitt fighter. Worse, the German pilot was an ace, a man able to destroy the American bomber with the squeeze of a trigger.

An amazing story to to perfection
Revisado: 07-22-24
This is an incredible story of the humanity and compassion in people that makes life worth living. Robertson Dean is the perfect choice to narrate any military non fiction work as well.

Historia
At 5-foot-8, 175 pounds, Daniel Rodriguez was an unlikely recruit for the gridiron. But on the battlefield, under the daily rain of sniper fire, he made a promise to his best friend. "When I get out of this shit hole, I'm going to play college football." Daniel had joined the Army just weeks after graduating from high school, having recently suffered a devastating loss. At age nineteen he had no idea what war really was; he just wanted to get out of town.

Very well written
Revisado: 08-09-22
This book was very well written, and I appreciate Daniel for being very open and transparent about all of the feelings and emotions had experienced throughout his journey. I think we all have scars created by our shortcomings in life, SOC we must all learn from them and learn how to live with them.
