Historia
Tumultuous. Passionate. Timeless. The marriage between Eleanor of Aquitaine and Henry Plantagenet was like no other, born of power, politics, and an all-consuming, fiery love. Within two years of their wedding, Henry conquered England and together they ruled a vast kingdom. At first they worked to unify and repair their war-torn lands - before being torn apart by intrigue, adultery, and deadly revenge.

I really liked this book and recommend it highly! Others gave the narrator bad reviews, but I don't think she was horrible. She wasn't the best, but not the worst, either. Great read!

Another great book in this series by A. American. Like other reviewers stated, this book is less action-packed and focuses a lot on an impending forest fire. I feel like if you've read up to the previous book and are on the fence on this one, then don't feel too bad about skipping it. However, overall, it was still an enjoyable read. I love Sarge's justice! Duke Fontaine is an awesome narrator.

Historia
F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic American novel of the Roaring Twenties is beloved by generations of readers and stands as his crowning work. This new audio edition, authorized by the Fitzgerald estate, is narrated by Oscar-nominated actor Jake Gyllenhaal (Brokeback Mountain). Gyllenhaal's performance is a faithful delivery in the voice of Nick Carraway, the Midwesterner turned New York bond salesman, who rents a small house next door to the mysterious millionaire Jay Gatsby....

Disappointed

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
This book was required reading in high school. I purchased it, since the new movie was coming out about it. I thought it was horrible! I liked the last two hours, but everything else was a waste of time.
