the story was good but the emotionless computer voice was creepy... I guess it made the story better? It was unnerving to say the least!

The first two books in this series definitely overdid the cheesy romance/soft porn. This story is done almost perfectly. Definitely my favorite so far. I hope the author continues to improve this way.

Again, the premise of these stories is so good.

In the beginning I was disappointed that the story wasn't including enough of Lily and Rylan. Very soon I started to care about the new characters introduced. Again the sequel tension/ descriptions of the sequel tension is tedious and cheesy and while it does take away from the story, the story is so good its worth listening through it.

it is a little unbelievable that Dhalia has such trouble around people, yet she was able to go to a university?


I hope the other characters become more involved in the stories to continue the main story line involving original Dr. Whitney. Overall I would recommend this series.

Really great premise

The story line is really interesting and it keeps you on the edge of your seat with plenty of action. I really like the way they don't drag out the suspense. The sex scenes are cheesy and over done which is the only negative thing I can say about the book but that should tell you how good the story is that its worth listening through.

it's like Catcher in the Rye

except in the 80s. That was my recurring thought throughout this book. I can't articulate exactly what it is about it that reminds me of Catcher in the Rye, but it does.

When this was pending release, it said it was 8hrs

after I spent a credit on it it went down to 4hrs.

also, why aren't the pictures included? Other audiobooks with illustrations have a download with them so you can see the pictures.

I love the way her family was shaking in their boots after the FreeBritney movement got her out of the institution. Anyone else notice their attempt to gaslight her by showing up at her house like they love her so much?

The depth and richness of the story telling

Is absolutely wonderful. I enjoy the duration, & hope with the popularity, the author doesn't start releasing 8 hour books regularly.

I find it strange how often the author mentions the whiteness of people's teeth. That is supposed to be a sign of resin addiction, I wonder if it isn't significant when he mentions it.

Also, Denna gets a bad wrap... Qvothe is the dangerous one in this relationship. He is intrigued by puzzles, once he has an understanding of something he moves on. Donna is a puzzle to him. If he ever figured her out he would move on to a new puzzle.

I hope we get the 3rd book in my lifetime.

accent not understand that the time period renders no American accent? they literally just fought the war...there would be no American accent yet.
