Really enjoyable look into the lives of FDR, Eleanor and the White House, all from the perspective of a very little boy!
The reader Jeremy Gage is crisp, easy on the ears and makes this audiobook a joy to listen to!
Five stars all the way!

Historia
Carl Hiaasen doesn't like the Walt Disney Company. A native of Florida, Hiaasen comes by his dislike for Disney honestly. He has witnessed the relentless success of the Disney machine firsthand with the development of Disney World and other properties around Orlando. In Team Rodent, Hiaasen paints a witty and sarcastic portrait of a company that can control the press, manipulate local governments, and—because it's Disney—get away with it. Entertaining and enlightening, the book takes a critical view of the Disney corporate giant, tracing its destructive impact.

A Treatise In Smut
Revisado: 02-03-10
First off, this audiobook sounds as if it was recorded in one of the porno booths the author goes on and on about. Terrible audio quality! I also found it creepy that this author attaches sexual lingo and references to almost every other sentence. Just kinda creeped me out!
Oh yeah, I also want to echo another reviewer who said BITTER MUCH?

Disney is so good, it's bad. So argues Carl Hiaasen, an award-winning investigative reporter and columnist with the Miami Herald, whose dream is to be banned forever from Disney World. In Team Rodent, Hiaasen provides an unflinching look at the mega-empire and says its attempts to alter "God's work" are a manifestation of "pure wickedness."

This came after The New York Times, along with eight 9/11 families, sued to win public dissemination of the transmissions, as well as hundreds and hundreds of pages of transcribed oral histories.

Heartbreaking
Revisado: 01-05-10
It's so easy to go back in time to that terrible day by listening to these tapes. You can also hear the confusion and lack of communication. I was most surprised by a civilian who ducked into one of the fire trucks after WTC 1 collapsed and called on the radio for help!
Worth a listen!

Revisado: 01-03-10
This is the most expressive version of A Christmas Carol I've ever heard. Tim Curry is brilliant in his narration. His voice and inflection are perfect for this telling of the old tale!

The narrator really moves things along (translates to - too speedy!)
Content is a rundown of Beatles singles and the storys surrounding them.
Good book for the price.
