Couldn’t finish
Revisado: 09-26-24
Nothing captured my attention. Narration was blah, writing was boring, characters were uninteresting. I couldn’t get past the first 4 chapters. Maybe it gets better but I just couldn’t listen anymore.

Meh.. kind of boring
Revisado: 05-26-24
Lacked any emotional connection with the characters. Just a story without any humor or banter between the main characters. Plus no real sense of suspense. Just MEH. I was expecting more.

Historia
When a military coup in Iran leads to a crackdown on religious jihadists, it seems as if a new era is dawning in the Middle East, especially when the new leader, General Buzhazi, seeks to normalize relations with both America and Israel. But the Iranians are not really interested in peace....In the guise of pursuing and destroying Islamic militants, Buzhazi is planting thousands of Iranian Pasdaran special-ops troops throughout the oil-rich Kurdish region of Northern Iraq and in a lightning-quick operation brutally occupies the territory.

Soooo uninteresting…
Revisado: 01-09-24
Story was boring and narrator has a strong Scottish accent when trying to do a Middle Eastern or Russian accent. It was very distracting. Also the dialogue when the Iranians were speaking was so American. By the end of the story I could care less about what was going on, I just wanted it to be over. I wish I could get my money and time back.

This is her best book so far! I loved the relationship between Will and Olivia. Story kept me engaged and interested. Even though the story was so intertwined it was not hard to follow especially because of Frasier’s ability to tie it all together with her fantastic writing. Bravo!

Revisado: 03-24-23
Story was good but dragged a little in the beginning. I think the narrator kind brought the book down a bit with his depressing voice, which really didn’t do it for me. First book was better.
