Heard an interview with the author and he sounded so nice. I don't know why I thought that would translate into a book that I would like or understand.

If your interest in politics and it's players is only a passing glance then don't get this book. It will bore you to tears as it did me.

I could not make it past the 1st hour it was so uninteresting to me.

I am sure if you know who all the people in Washington are and watch and read every political tidbit you can then you will like this book. But for the rest of us forget it.

So irritated that I spent my money on this, wish I could get a refund.

Listend twice I loved so much

This is a must read for every woman out there. I think it would help many a girl to relax and not take them selves so seriously.

Caitlin lays it on the line just how crazy the world has become and what we woman do to try and fit in as normal.

I have already listened to this book twice since I got it in January and I am sure will pull it out every couple of years to listen again to help remind me that I don't have to fit into what the world calls norm to be a women. I am a woman 100% no matter how little or how much effort I put into my appearance and if others don't like it then who cares.

Why did I listen to the whole thing

I hate to be mean but this was not very good at all. I wanted to turn it off many times but kept hoping it would get better. Her stories are boring and I did not laugh once ever.

She smoked a lot, I mean a lot of pot as a teenager and into her 20's was basically lazy and worries at every turn that she will get AIDS or some kind of disease making her sound completely un educated. Or maybe I just don't get her humor.

I should have knows from the get go that is was not going to be funny when she conversers with her young children on what to write in the introduction of the book and her 8 year old says "your book how I molest your mother". Um can someone tell me what is funny about that?

Overall boring, I cannot recommend this book.

What made the experience of listening to Is It Just Me? the most enjoyable?

I could listen to her talk all day long.

Pure enjoyment through and through, I look forward to her next book.

Rachel of course.

Have you listened to any of Rachel Dratch’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Was not aware that she has read or written other books. I loved her voice and would listen to her read menu.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, and could have if I had not started so late at night and needed to get to bed.

I have a feeling I will listen to this again and again over the next few years. It was just really that enjoyable of a book.

Yuck and more yuck!

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Nothing at all. These are horrible stories about practical jokes that are way to over the top for my taste. I do think she if funny but the things she does to the people in her life are horrible and cruel and I guess that is where I draw the line of funny.

Has Lies That Chelsea Handler Told Me turned you off from other books in this genre?

No, not at all but will just be more careful in the future about reading others reviews.

No, I could not even finish it. It made me want my money back for purchasing it.

What would have made I Drink for a Reason better?

If it was not so vengeful against other people

Would you ever listen to anything by David Cross again?

I do think he is funny sometimes and I do enjoy his voice. But as for things he has written no way in hell, he is just to bitter for me.

What didn’t you like about David Cross’s performance?

His voice is fine.

Just not really sure why he wrote this book other then to tell the world how much he hates Jim Belushi and anything that the rest of the world likes.

Kristen tells her story so well you find your self laughing at points that should make you cringe or shake your head.

When her incident happens in the London apartment

What does Kristen Johnston bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

No one else can tell someone's story like the they can.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

We are all addicts in our own way.

Kristen tells it like it is and that is great. She makes no excuses for what happen and that is refreshing for once to hear someone take responsibility for their own actions.
