What does say about me
Revisado: 03-22-25
To want such a horrendous game to continue, to feel like this. This is the goodbye we never knew we wanted abs now that it is here to never want it to end. This story couldn’t be a more perfect and fitting ending. It was truly a beautiful walk down a road with familiar names and face and seeing the world we walked into so many years ago take on a whole new shape and reveal itself to be more magnificent then previously imagined. The writing, the narrator, the hope, the devastation, the love and even the hate you have for this world find new footholds on your imagination and on your heart. Thank you for gifting us this masterpiece, it is worth the credit and the time. I’d be willing to pay more and wish this book had never ended.

Well, well, well…
Revisado: 02-20-25
I’m not big on reviews sadly. But I have been on the hunt for a good book and some times I have a good book and a bad narrator or vice versa. Well color me shocked when I came across this gem. Honestly, I was so grateful that the book stayed where it started (trying to avoid spoilers) and that the people and plans seem like my kinda people and plans. No perfect person, but also kinda. Still details were perfect, character depth and mix good, and honestly, so damn believable. If you have a credit spend it, if you don’t buy extra credits… great writing, great narration, and oh yeah, it’s 3 effing books! That probably the part I like the most! Not waiting years and effing years to figure out what the hell is happening. With that said I’m on to book two, byyeeeee.

The first letter arrived the day my husband was buried. It was postmarked from the state penitentiary, and contained a single sentence: I’ll wait forever if I have to. It was signed by Dante, a man I didn’t know. Out of simple curiosity, I wrote back to ask him what exactly he was waiting for. His reply? You.

Hmmmm… not bad but also not marketed right
Revisado: 12-31-24
This book was a little hard to get through, only because the synopsis doesn’t really put this book into the right genre. I get into reading moods and wasn’t expecting the overall theme of this book, it is 100% not as it seems. With that being said the book is well written, it’s sweet and hot and well narrated. Though not a true duet (in my mind) but executed well. Some alternate ways to describe without giving away too much, is this book is strong into paranormal fiction.

Historia
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Amazing
Revisado: 12-16-22
So I won’t lie, I’ve had the book for a while and I brought it because I love the Martin. So after one or two stops and starts I restarted it and boy was it worth it. There was a realism that I’ve come to expect from this author, a lot of authors try to show humans in their best light, but the sheer honesty in what Dr. Grace was faced with and his response could have been my own. There is a point at the introduction of a new character where I had to make sure my phone / the app wasn’t acting up, once you figure it out it shouldn’t be hard to accept. Though I don’t know how this would come across in the physical books. Still this story had everything you could want from a human thrown into an impossible situation and forced into interstellar travel. It might seem slow, but once it gets going it will keep you on the edge of your seat!

Historia
Julian was the boy next door. My brother's best friend, he fit with my family in ways I never could. While he and Rhett went on to play house, I left the only life I knew, desperate for a fresh start. Until everything changed. Heartache came along, and the aftermath of my brother's death was here to stay. I was now face to face with Julian more than I ever wanted to be. Being around him brought up all my insecurities, forced me to deal with hard truths, and conjured up feelings I had no business entertaining. He wasn't the man I thought I knew.

So sweet
Revisado: 10-10-22
I thought the trop would be hard for me to accept, but it was so wonderfully written. I felt the growth while fast, organic. Both MC struggle with accepting the death of a loved one and the acceptance of their growing attraction.
The GFY can be stereotyped, but again that was was not the case as the writing showed the conflict in a way that made you love Deacon.
This is my second book by the author and I find that I like her style and the way she tells such beautiful stories. I would definitely recommend this book.

This entire series is amazing. As Patrick and Co. begin to journey to gaining alliances to make a run as The Official God Pack of New York, of course the gods this time Celtic have plans of their own. This book is faced paced as they race against the shortest day of the year to meet bargains made and of course, find a way to keep Patrick whole until he can deliver his promise to Persephone

Just fell a part
Revisado: 08-16-22
I was on the fence about this book for a while and I though the reverse age dynamics would be off putting. Still, on a dry spell from other authors I tried this. I was never fully committed to Dec and Owens story, I was merely a stranger passing by, though the performance of John Solo was great, I found I was nearing the end of the book with surprising ease.
It was literally mid way through chapter 32 when a punishment had handed down for no reasons. Most kink, bdsm relationships are built on trust and communication and this was violated so blankly and stupidly I might add. I immediately stopped listening and while I want to return the book, I won’t, because I don’t want to abuse the return process and I otherwise enjoyed the prior 75% of the book.
I was looking forward to a great series and seeing the relationship grow, but no. If you can overlook the importance of a Dom not abusing their power then you may enjoy, but if that specific dynamic of trust is a requirement you may have an issue with this series. The trust was never really earned but to abuse it for the purposes of advancing a plot I’ll exit stage left.

Living on the fringe of this twisted Fourth Reich society, Dark Horse - the only Black man in the Union - commandeers a vessel and scours the galaxy for his missing teammates under the guise of an Exo-Hunter, seeking out exo-planets to satiate the Union’s need for colonization.

Rad!!!
Revisado: 01-08-22
This book has floated on abs off my read list abs I must say that I’m sorry I waited. This sci-fi, galactic, military expedition was not at all what I expected, and yet was everything I could have wanted. The action, laughter, world building, I mean it was great abs could totally see this being a series. Dark horse told an old story with a gun twist and giving you a glimpse at past, present, future and future past. I’m new to the author, but I will admit that RC Bray was the deciding factor and his narration has never lead me wrong. For a totally tubular good time, read or listen. You won’t be disappointed.

Revisado: 10-16-21
I am a big post apocalyptic/ sci-fi fan and this book with the amazing narration by RC Bray will be all you need in these trying times! The action starts and never stops as you follow Phantom Team into the heart of battle. I recommend this series despite not having read the remaining books… yet! I’m hooked and I have to know how this ends.

Slow Going
Revisado: 09-09-21
So, let me preface this by saying that I love almost any type of post apocalyptic world and this as well as the narrator drew me into this story.
This book sat in my wish list pile for quite some time and to be honest it it weren’t in a box set I’m not 100% sure I would have finished it.
So why the five stars? Well for several reasons, but I’ll only list a few. 1. There aren’t many good or decent written female lead post apocalyptic books, compile that with the MC’s age; in any other book she would be whining and complaining, naive to the point of sheer ridiculousness (it can close but never for long). 2. The age gap seriously grew and felt organic. 3. They never switched, it can be easy for a man to always save the day and this female MC kicked butt and pulled off some serious saves.
So what I didn’t care for is the same plot in every book, you can get caught unaware once, maybe even twice but after the event in the second book or Part II, there’s no reason on this earth to be caught in the same exact manner a third time. The writer should have found different ways to put them in the situation that felt more organic. I literally had to stop listing to the book in Parts 2 and 3 because I was so disappointed at how stupid the MC’s were, it was almost like just let them die they deserve it at this point. I’ll say this, it’s a good change of pace from military driven, male lead dominated post apocalyptic series and though it took a few days and a couple of tries I finished it and I think I’m better for it.
