This is the first book where I've seen this dynamic between the two main characters. Even with it's uniqueness, the relationship is plausible with all of the great dialog. If you like a caring daddy not into humiliation or pain, then this is the book for you.

Unique Storyline with Steam

It starts off with Declan being a little pushy which as someone in the BDSM community I was a little thrown off by. BUT in the end he is really just stating exactly what he is looking for and his desires. Then he leaves it up to his boy to decide if he wants to follow. I love the no forcing he does, the care he takes of his boy. The Daddy messes up at the end and learns a very painful but valuable lesson. Well worth the credit, but I bought the other two novels about half way through the book and have looked up the short add on shorts for this same couple. I can't wait to read some of the text books by this author as well.

John was fantastic as usual, although at times he reminds me of Michael Ferraiuolo which was funny.

I enjoyed the story and am glad that the rest of the series is available. It's a bit of a cliffhanger but ends in a good place.

The only thing that I didn't like is that it needs a better editor/proofreader. I can usually ignore minor errors, but a few drew me out of the story.

I loved the concept of the story with the age role reversal. The narrator was awesome as well. I can't wait to for more of their story.

people don't realize how society so-called rules play a big part on how they see things and how things should be even me I still think sometimes this is a good book but it's kind of strange just because the younger & smaller person is the most dominant person in the relationship.

I loved how well the author had us feel what each person was feeling. Also it shocked me to find that the mom went away to become a man and said nothing until she ran into her sons. They also let us see and feel what the daughter felt like, and I don’t blame her for her anger.

This is a story of a gay young man who has a preference for older men. I read (listened) to it, because I like my mm romance to have (a) different point(s) of view. The MC characters could be more developed, but this is book 1in the trilogy, so maybe that happens as the writer takes her audience along in the other books. The plot around them is quite interesting, the ex-wife who transfers and the twin who dates the same woman as his friend, and the daughter who’s also gay. Interesting. All that could seem much; let’s see what book 2 brings. I lóve John Solo’s talent, how he puts the emotion into the characters, bringing them to life! ❤️
