Historia
The world is falling apart. Joshua Jordan’s protégé Ethan March, along with Jimmy Louder and Rivka Reuban, have been left behind in a world that is rapidly coming under the complete influence of the Antichrist. Technology is growing by leaps and bounds with BID-Tag implants, robotic police units, and drone-bots flying overhead . . . all designed to control and dominate those who resist the Antichrist’s reign of evil.

Not a Last Book of Series
Revisado: 04-07-25
Mr. Parshall is an engaging writer and I go out of my way to purchase them, but it did not satisfy as the last book of a series. As far as I’m concerned the last book was Book Three when the main characters were raptured. This book had a cast of characters rivaling the movie 10 Commandments. The narrator’s “wet” delivery was annoying and I thought a number of times he was gagging on unswallowed saliva. It cannot be said this book is a stand alone, either. Sorry,

Story Plot Brilliant
Revisado: 03-31-25
Craig wrote a great series! So many plot points true now.
The award winning narrator did nothing for me with his heavy dragging voice and lack of inflection/voices for characters. Excellent story and am purchasing the series.

Solid Premise & Characters
Revisado: 01-24-25
Goodwin surprises again. His book plots are divergent and rich. Can’t wait until book 2 this summer. Real people, with real weaknesses. Totally believable. Narrator embraces character voices like no one I’ve ever heard.

Historia
Elijah Goldsmith has nightmares he needs to ignore. Why would a rich kid from Manhattan dream three straight nights about a dragon and the destruction of St. Peter’s Basilica? He’s never even been to Rome. It’s bad timing, too. He’s graduating soon and applying to be a spy in the International Security Agency. That’s where he meets Naomi. She’s the kind of girl who makes boys like Elijah want to share their secrets.

Fantastic: Goodwin & Glemboski
Revisado: 12-10-24
Mark Goodwin has a knack for writing strong women in his books. We appreciate the absence of swearing and sex in his writing and lack of zombies. He uses Scripture as a portent of what happens in each chapter. I laugh at people who review Mark’s books negatively because of it. They know full well what they purchased. If they are offended by it, why purchase it. Evil in our personal lives can only be fought successfully with the power of God’s Word.
His character arcs are strong and believable because the characters have conflicts and weaknesses. I highly recommend all his books.
Glembowski’s narration is always believable and properly presents Goodwin’s manuscripts with intrigue. Thank you for your talent.

Jerry Jenkins is famed for having co-authored the #1 New York Times best-selling Left Behind series with Tim LaHaye. In his awe-inspiring series of prequels to Left Behind, Jenkins reveals the shocking revelations that lead our world to the rapture. In the dark years following World War III—after the rise of an oppressive new world government that strictly imposes a worldwide ban on the practice of religion—the underground Christian network slowly begins to gain momentum.

Formulaic Writing- Ending Unsatisfying
Revisado: 09-16-24
No need for this third book except $. Endless description and scene changes could have paired this book down to two books. The end. The extraordinary character development in this series saved it. Worse, the ending was contrived. Moreover, just end a book- no need for an epilogue. This wasn’t an epic novel- Dangerous just end it. I’m teetering on the edge thinking he did not write this 3rd book.

The only thing I disliked was the slow start. I think he could have gotten away without all the characters’ back and forth in the beginning. The Pritchard incident took a while to happen. Once it did, I could hardly stop listening: sleep took precedence. Porter made every character come alive. Kudos to production crew! Will purchase more of his books especially if Porter is reading. Don’t hesitate to get.

“Ah Crap” Quote from Series
Revisado: 08-23-24
I would have cleaned gas station toilets in order to afford a reader for my multi-part masterpiece. Wow, you did yourself such a disservice, man. Certainly, someone in your church could have read the thing for free. Gratuitous sex - kept thinking the author would back off throughout the series, but no, he was descriptive. Not needed in this type of book. How many times did you write the word “crap?” Wow. Did AI write this book as well as read it?
