Outdated and AI narration sucks
Revisado: 07-30-24
Hate the AI narration. It mispronounces common words and is overall badly done. A lot of the text was outdated as well.

Could have been interesting
Revisado: 03-07-24
The book started out promising, but about halfway through I noticed how absolutely nasty the author was. Her disdain for the mentally ill/disabled was unwarranted and malicious. It was hard to finish, not because of her graphic descriptions of gory crime scenes, but for the way she made fun of the victims and survivors of the crimes she was investigating. Gallows humor as a coping mechanism is one thing, but this was someone who thought calling someone ‘front butt’ because he was morbidly obese was ok. Or referring to an alcoholic woman as ‘thing’ was just fine. I understand the original book was self published, and can see why no major publishers would go there. Avoid.
