cute story "dude"...

This story had some great potential. The concept was good, but the execution was terrible. the story fell flat with the female lead character, who was so vapid and banal that it made the book hard to get through. I find it very difficult to accept that a thousands year old being would be taken in by a 22 year old girl who speaks like a 13 year old (did I miss that this was a pre-teen read). Imagine if a 13 year old wrote a book about how she thinks adults act and you have this book in a nutshell. What was meant to sound strong and "bad-ass" mostly came across as petulant and inane. The background given to this character was not enough to give her depth or justify the complete fearlessness she had. This book was only saved by the narrators who did a pretty good job despite the juvenile crudeness of the dialogue. I give the story a 2 star and another for narrators.

A Fantastic Series!

Denali Day has a gift that I want to see more of. The characters are rich and dynamic. It is refreshing to read a romance that is focused more on the story than on getting to sex scenes. I fell in love with all 5 of the main characters. I highly recommend this series!!

I didn't think it could get better than Hollen the Soulless but Denali Day draws you in and keeps you wanting more. I loved Erik and Tisha's story and I'm so looking forward to Ivan's now.

Anticlimactic

I know this is a romance novel but the story was so flat. The tension build up between the characters wasn't there. The transition from friends to lovers didn't feel gradual it was more of a slap like wow that just happened and not really sure why.

I have been sucked in to these great books. I really like Rory and her men. I find it funny that Rory always talks about having to be perfect directly followed by examples of imperfection.

Dragons!!

It is so nice to find another series about dragons to fall in love with. I didn't think I would find dragons I like outside of Ann McCaffery books. This book was fun and fast paced and narrated very well.
