Historia
Jack Saunders just wants a new start after a messy divorce. He doesn't bargain on a wrong turn and a breakdown in the Arizona desert. A beautiful girl coming to his rescue on a classic Indian motorcycle might mean things are looking up. Or, they might be turning really strange in a town that time forgot, with friendly people willing to die for a cause...to save a founder's statue.

What!?
Revisado: 10-04-23
Is this a children’s book? The presentation is childlike; the storytelling is indicative of the old “Dick and Jane” story books in elementary school. Sentence structure and descriptions are brief and uninteresting! I’m sorry to have wasted a credit on this audible book. One word summary? Disappointing!

Historia
His name was Feliks. He came to London to commit a murder that would change history. A master manipulator, he had many weapons at his command, but against him were ranged the whole of the English police, a brilliant and powerful lord, and the young Winston Churchill himself. These odds would have stopped any man in the world - except the man from St. Petersburg.

Captivating!
Revisado: 12-30-22
Follet excels once again with a mixture of fiction, actual history and the human condition of overwhelming love, passion and situational ethics. It was spell binding!

Historia
We keep dogs and are kept by them. We love dogs and (we assume) we are loved by them. We buy them sweaters, toys, shoes; we are concerned with their social lives, their food, and their health. The story of humans and dogs is thousands of years old but is far from understood. In Our Dogs, Ourselves, Alexandra Horowitz explores all aspects of this unique and complex relationship that “dog lovers will savor and absorb” (Shelf Awareness). As Horowitz considers the current culture of dogdom, she reveals the odd, surprising, and contradictory ways we live with dogs.

Found it to be quite boring!
Too much data reporting! It was tedious listening to names of dogs. Was expecting more on the nature of dogs.

Historia
Over two grim nights in Los Angeles, the young followers of Charles Manson murdered seven people, including the actress Sharon Tate, then eight months pregnant. With no mercy and seemingly no motive, the Manson Family followed their leader's every order. Twenty years ago, when journalist Tom O'Neill was reporting a magazine piece about the murders, he worried there was nothing new to say. Then he unearthed shocking evidence of a cover-up behind the "official" story, including police carelessness, legal misconduct, and potential surveillance by intelligence agents.

Its all about gory details of what he’s seen at crime scenes and a know it all “I will find you” because I’m the best of the best! The title says it all! I would not recommend this book to anyone!
