Amazing series.

I started this set out as the author suggested by reading book 21 and then going back to book one at the end. Book number one really is the prequel to the series the Assassin. I loved the series as you watch El Ray become a hero to those less fortunate. The series definitely left you wanting more, Action packed.

Historia
A couple of bad decisions… …and he was the perfect one to frame for murder. But who is out to get Cory? It was true, his ex-manager, back in his pop music days, had stolen from him, and it made him mad. Words were exchanged and maybe a threat or two, but for Cory it was all bluster. He never thought it would come back to haunt him. Now, he sat in a cell. The evidence against might be enough to convict. What was his next move? Barney Tower, at age 50, was a high-priced lawyer and had a reputation for winning. People said he would do anything to get the job done. He knew it to be true. ...

Second book.

Well, not as action packed as the first book of the series, you started to develop a clear understanding of who Cory is. He starts to pull his life together and his figuring out that people will definitely try to take advantage of those who have had early success.

A fun read.

This series was quite different from other Dan Petrosini books. Corycertainly does come up with a dilemma that almost drives you crazy. He’s making decisions that are shooting from the hip rather than using logic and reasoning. But as the book develops, you start to feel sorry for Cory, as he was most likely young and naïve about the workings of the world. Not knowing what it’s like to be a musician, and in the fast-paced world of music, it leads you to understand that sometimes a hidden talent is not always a positive experience.

Wonderful twists!

This so far is one of my favorites from Dan Petrosini. It had wonderful twists, and I really like the way the murder was finally solved with a single piece of evidence that most people would’ve never thought of.
