Fun stories

I liked the storyline & the mysteries. I hard a hard time listening to the “virtual voice “. Especially when it pronounced words incorrectly! I usually won’t listen to a story with a computer talking.

As a former con artist, I love a convoluted, mind-bending scheme as much as the next guy. But as a recently promoted MagiPol agent, I love it significantly less than that guy. Especially when the life of a kidnapped teen hangs in the balance. Between confusing orders and conflicting evidence, this whole investigation has me and my partner, Lienna, spinning in circles. Why is our boss keeping this case off the books? Why is our top suspect, the most notorious rogue in Vancouver, mired in contradictions?

I love that fact that these stories inter lap with the other books the author has written. I hope she did one on the Ghost!

Historia
Never in my 40 years did I think my new normal would be gluing body parts back onto ghosts and hosting a houseful of dead squatters. Thank God for superglue and a strong stomach. Never thought I’d date the Grim Reaper and that I would be the one to blow it. I mean, how idiotic does one have to be to get dumped by a dude who lives in Hell? Going about business as usual is not usual in any way. No one is who they seem to be...and to be honest, neither am I. What I’d known to be true has turned out to be myth. The angels are frightening, and the demons are hot.

Drunken Narrator?
Revisado: 04-08-24
I liked the story and the little romances. The narrator could have been better. She made some characters sound drunk and if this was supposed to be North Carolina they could have had a bit of a southern accent. But the story was good.

It did take a bit to get into the story, but a few chapters in I finally became engrossed. Lots of twists
