This is a multi part series. While the beginning of the book was entertaining the end most certainly did not sell me on the series. I am good with just this one

"Thoroughly impressed. I think fans of WJ Lundy, Shawn Chesser, and Bobby Adair will love this one." -James Cook, author of the Surviving the Dead series Can the world's biggest smart-ass survive the apocalypse? All the news channels can talk about is the Red Flu, a nasty strain that came out of nowhere to wreak havoc on the population. There's also something the government isn't telling the public about the Red Flu- both the secret of its true effects, and exactly how it spreads. Brody Tate doesn't care. He's a young smart-ass living in New York City, locked in a dead-end job. His only ...

Realistic is the last word I would use
Revisado: 11-24-24
This book is not realistic and it really is unbelievable within the first 7 minutes and 57 seconds and only goes downhill fast from there. I am guessing the other reviews giving this anything above a 2 is a friend of the creators. If it's still free give it a go. 1 penny more is highway robbery.

Historia
Clint Redshaw walks into a port facility meeting expecting an ordinary day arguing about the budget. When the shaking starts, he keeps calm. But as the tremors stretch on and on, the ground rips apart, the dock disintegrates, and chunks of land fall into the Strait. When the quake finally ends, there's only one thing on his mind: his daughter. Mika's singing songs and laughing with a gaggle of other sixteen-year-olds as they climb into the Pacific Northwest mountains for a scout weekend. One minute, it's sunshine and good vibes, and the next, it's screaming and chaos.

Revisado: 07-08-24
This story starts off decent. Once the action happens though both parents become idiots. I get building suspense but make it believable. I don't know who approved multiple instillations of this story.

Historia
Bishop is trapped deep inside Montana's Apex Valley along with his injured wife, a shotgun-wielding stranger named Colbrick, and a sneaking suspicion he's never making it back to Chicago. Things no man has seen before haunt the woods. Strange animal species creep behind pine trees, some of them with flashing red tags that blink faster and faster. Giant birds mimic the sound of humans and lord over the sky. Leaf-shaped creatures attack anything that moves and flash vivid colors across their glistening backs.

only if it's still free
Revisado: 12-27-23
One of the main characters is described as brilliant yet in a world that has alien creatures roaming about the following not only ensues but is agreed to by other parties. 20 minutes after coming close to death they want to stop and check on some people the see once a year on their way to vacation. Close encounter with death again when after that let stop and rescue some fish from their tank and set them free in a pond. It starts off with action but I think that was on purpose to try to hook you. The characters are bland and the person who always has the worst ideas is the woman.

Revisado: 09-16-20
If you want a book where the protagonist is running away from the authorities like he has never seen a spy movie or cant understand the concept of incognito, this is the book for you! Throughout the beginning of the book it seems as though the protagonist often forgets he's supposed to be hiding. For starters he never ditches his phone nor does he think about a burner. He still attempts to use his credit cards cause that's not traceable at all. On top of all that foolishness he often uses his real name and then as an after thought is like oh I probably shouldn't have done that... I had to turn the book off because I was getting a headache from rolling my eyes. Literally save yourself the headache and keep scrolling!!

I can't even!
Revisado: 06-06-19
I understand this is supposed to take place in the middle of nowhere but I don't think anyone is as simple and stupid as ALL of these characters. Even if they didn't know anything about zombies they don't learn from their mistakes. Its unbelievable at some points..Like when does self preservation take effect?!? The characters are so ridiculous they are hard to relate to. By the end of the book I think if there was a coconut as a character I would have related to that more.

15 hours you will NEVVVEEERRR GET BACK
Revisado: 02-16-19
This book truly only needed to be maybe 6 hours long. The most mundane of details explained in 3/4 paragraphs. Such as the crown molding in the home. Didn't have a part really in the book but it was explained in no less than 3 paragraphs and mentioned at least 3 other times in the book. It's purpose... to let you know the guy who built the house took care when creating it. If you like unnecessary detailing of the most simplest of things this is the book for you. The end only need to be the one chapter but per the rest of the book lets stretch that bad boy out to 4! If you have time to kill and just need some background noise this will do it you can zone in and out of chapters and probably still be able to follow the book with no problems....Just don't

Revisado: 01-21-19
I really liked the beginning but as the book progressed I realized that I could not get through a sequel with a main character this dumb. I understand doing some things for suspense purposes but after a while you just think she is really dumb, like Paris Hilton dumb.
