When librarian Cecily Jane Allerton and hotshot struggling author Nate Ellis are caught in a compromising position during their MFA program, they decide to get married to keep the haters from destroying their chances for professional success. To the horror of Cecily’s family, which is a big fan of big white weddings, they elope to City Hall. Now they’re back on Block Island, pretending to be a real married couple, and finding that however fake the relationship may be, the mutual attraction is all too real.

very unique, outstanding book, easy read with all the ups and downs you could need
Revisado: 12-16-24
I love this book and finished it in two sittings. The characters are very likable, and end up in some situations that make you truly feel worried for them, and rooting for them. I also liked how the book was narrated with two different narrators switching back and forth between the two main characters, it made the book a lot more interesting. this book was just as good if not better than KJ's first book. which I ended up downloading by accident, and was pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend reading both of her books on audible.

A rallying cry striking at the roots of today’s major issues, Jesse Kelly uses his trademark bombast, intelligence, and humor to take down the most dangerous philosophy in history and address its resurgence in America. This instant bestseller is for anyone who feels alienated by political and popular culture in the United States and recognizes the danger of communism as it threatens to rip apart America’s social fabric.

A Master work Unrivaled by any
Revisado: 06-07-23
Written by one of the most handsome and talented Men this earth has created, This stunning and frankly terrifying book kept me on the edge of my seat, as I gathered more knowledge then I thought I was capable of absorbing about the evils of communism and their all consuming quest to destroy the world. Even if the contents of this book don't interest you, you can always turn it on and listen to the soothing sounds of Jesse's voice, and even hear him say words such as heteronormativity. now that I'm done reading this book, I will now read it again in case I missed anything.

not his best
Revisado: 11-18-22
I still like this book, but it felt like it was lacking a story. it seems like it was written just to be written. Aside from a brief appearance by Seville and some references to legion and Felix, it didn't seem to tie in with any other book like some of the other ones do either. but there are some good new characters and for the most part it was a good story.

The reviews were a little harsh on this one.
Revisado: 09-27-22
I thought this was right up there with some of Peter Clines best stories, I could relate to and actually cared about the main characters, he did a really good job and making me absolutely despise the bad guys, and even had some very complex characters they were hard to tell what side they were on. The only thing I think people didn't like is this book was a lot more fast-paced than his other books, there were a few political statements in the book that I didn't necessarily agree with but we can't agree with everybody. All in all I love this book and will read it again and again

My name is Kazimir Wolfe. People call me "Kaz", except they don’t. I never use my real name; it’s too dangerous, for me and for anyone I meet. I’m on the run from the law, who think I killed my aunt, and from whoever did kill her, because they want to finish the job. So, I move around a lot, working construction or whatever job I can find. It’s a lonely life. I don’t let anyone get close...people who get close to me end up dead. Why? I’m a wizard. The world’s only wizard, as far as I know.

really good book, but don't expect exforce.
Revisado: 08-18-22
This is a surprisingly good read, a lot of people didn't like the dog but I enjoyed him and thought he acted much like a dog should. I felt all of the characters were pretty well developed and I cared about them. I also enjoyed little details such as telling me what the make and model of the cars were and good descriptions of buildings and areas so I could more imagine what was going on. also RC Bray was very on point as usual. I look forward to reading more of this series

Great sci-fi story from a female perspective.
Revisado: 06-04-21
this book had mixed reviews, but I gave it a shot, it was a very unique story, very well written. The only issues with the story was there was very little detail on technical issues like space travel and things like that, but all in all it was a very solid story with with detailed characters who are actually interesting people.

Historia
In the middle of the night, in a house on a quiet street in suburban Minneapolis, intruders silently murder Luke Ellis' parents and load him into a black SUV. The operation takes less than two minutes. Luke will wake up at The Institute, in a room that looks just like his own, except there's no window. And outside his door are other doors, behind which are other kids with special talents - telekinesis and telepathy - who got to this place the same way Luke did: Kalisha, Nick, George, Iris, and 10-year-old Avery Dixon.

Revisado: 10-02-19
I almost didn't buy this book because of the reviews, but I'm glad I did. this book was a solid Steven king book, great story, good characters that you actually care about. I do wish king would observe the Carson rule of politics, as some of his fans may not share his political beliefs. but he is entitled to his own opinions. all in all I loved this book and would put it in my top 10 favorite Steven king books.

I didn't buy this book initially because of all the bad reviews. Maybe it doesn't have the mystery of 14 or the originallity of the fold, but the characters were strong and we'll developed, and I cared what happened to them. This book is worth your time.

Historia
Henry and Jason led normal lives in Seattle before they were abducted to another world. Their kidnapper, the vain, self-styled god Dolos, refuses to send them back unless they can accomplish an impossible task. Oddly, Dolos doesn't seem to care if they succeed or not. Luckily, Henry and Jason studied Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) on Earth. Unfortunately, a Japanese American EMT and a geeky IT programmer don't have many other useful skills on a sword-and-sorcery world like Ludus.
