I didn't realize who the narrators were before I chose the story but I recognize that voice anywhere from button man a matter of fact went right back to button Man and listen to it again after this lol. ***spoiler alert*** I didn't even realize it until the narrator said epilogue... but there is no sex. And outside of knoll and Megan Durr it's a very rare occasion you will catch me not complaining about something like that in a MM romance novel hell any romance novel. beautifully written.

The virtual voice glitches...

Story was average enough... My issue would be with the virtual voice narrator. it could not pronounce the name of the school in the book. And glitched on certain words or phrases.

As we have all done this... Should have read the review and not just gone off the description.

-Audiobook Raphael accent I ASSUME it's supposed to be Italian? Sometimes sounded Middle Eastern sometimes it sounded Italian definitely not sexy.

-this could have been a really good novel the overall theme is good and it's a shame that it was ruined by bad detailing.

* * Spoiler alert * * I'm not sure if the author does not have a clear definition on sexuality and flex but if that's what they were trying to do with the main character Brian it didn't come across. I feel like he needed a preface to set up this world for me. Brian is immature And I just didn't get the setup for him being bi. I feel like I was supposed to assume that everyone in the world is bi but they deny it? I didn't feel before the demon showed up that there was any feelings towards men in a sexual way. Just because someone enjoyed having something up their ass does not make them gay. Prostate play is a thing whether you're gay or you're straight. If you repeatedly hit it it's going to go off right? I don't really think that can define somebody's sexuality as clear as Raphael was belittling Brian about?

And have a preface with a disclaimer because the fact of the matter is it was rape but badly set up not to look like it.

I didn't get through the whole book.
For example is this a episodic series that was crammed into a audiobook novel?
The first part of the novel discussed salary and wages but then the second part came up all of a sudden started talking about the wages as you would expect...no specific amounts. It's almost like the author forgot what they said in the first part and instead of going back and find out what they said about the salary

It was just messy and all over the place I just didn't get it. And if this is the first impression yeah this author won't get a second one for me.

... audience definition meaning okay with "omega" misogyny major sexism the old fashioned All American Way. as long as you disregard the traditional idiotic sexist ideals it's a pretty good story. I believe we need a new trigger warning due to the level of sexism and misogyny in this series, but again my assumption is the author is directing it to a certain type of individual in order to sell his work.

Great Matthew McConaughey imitation

The Texas accent for Damien was done extremely well, however complete mispronunciations of words narrator could not pronounce - Armani, baton rouge, Florida and some additional mispronunciations along the way. I'm starting to feel as if these narrators aren't real? I need secretly automations? They make the same screw UPS Alexa does.

Just 1comment ***spoiler alert*** confused in the initial chapter when Simon was kidnapped the kidnapper specifically stated that the boss wanted Simon to complete the egg project. in chapter 14 when he was left by the other main character to be set up with Baja... they made it seem like they only wanted Simon the paleontologist because he was at the scene of the theift and in the way at the time but that wasn't how it was initially stated early on in the beginning of the story. it made my brain stutter. I just don't understand why they would just drop him off in New York when they wanted the egg and the paleontologist to complete the work. it's like it was forgotten somewhere?

love the story, however if you notes for the narrator take sips of breath not inhales. it might help with the gas as I use headphones for my audible you can hear it. Only a suggestion as I recently started meditation and I know it's an issue for me.

Excellent book, love the narrator. however one star removed for full publication of all books and then not have all full publication of audio books available at the same time.

Mispronounced words?

My issue with the story has more to do with the narration. I'm hard pressed to believe this is a real person? More that this would be an Alexa product. Same issues with text to speech on Alexa platform mispronounced words/or past tense of a word with the same spelling the only one that comes to mind at the moment is Glibness. Happens enough that it is noticable.
