THIS IS AWFUL!

This is my first time listening to a computer generated voice and I just couldn’t get into it. I was able to listen to the prologue and the first two chapters before I called it quits. I am sure the story is awesome but ai just couldn’t listen to it. Disappointed.

Good story…terrible narrator

The storyline is very good and worthy of a series. The characters are likable. You can tell that this was the introduction of what is a potentially great series
Unfortunately, the narrator makes you think twice about purchasing the other books. His voice lacks infliction. In fact, he sounds like the worst professor lecturing your favorite subject.
I truly want to here the rest of the story but if Michael Pederson is the narrator I’ll have to take a hard pass.

This is an amazing series that I would love to see on the big screen. As for the audible version…ai really hate that the female narrator was changed. I have NEVER liked this narrator. Her voice is unappealing especially having to follow the narrator of the previous books. Her accent is terrible and I would much rather her not try at all. She comes out better just reading the part with voice inflections.

Good book, terrible female narrator

This was a very good book. I thoroughly enjoyed the characters and how the author captured current events. The male narrator was awesome. Voice inflictions were on point. However, the female narrator was the worst. It took me several days to listen to this book because I didn’t like the female narrator. Her voice and inflictions were annoying and too forced. Listening to her made me wished I’d read the book.
