Great story

I’ve been a fan of the author for years but this was my first time listening to an audio book of hers. Her writing is fantastic so I was curious to see how it would translate into audio. The story still gave me a thrill but I wasn’t a huge fan of the male narrator. He was a bit too over the top for me (his portrayal of Sterling was particularly difficult for me to listen to). I do give him credit for all the voices he did though and I did enjoy the female narrator. Despite that, it is definitely still worth a listen, especially if you love growly men with accents. The story is what really makes it worth it though. It’s a perfect blend of spice and drama!

Intriguing story with excellent characters

I don’t know how I hadn’t heard about this book sooner because I love Emily’s work but I am so glad I finally found it- I just loved this story so much! There was a perfect mix of mystery and romance. The narrators did an excellent job of bringing the story to life and I cried when it was over.

Beautiful story

I recently discovered Naomi’s work and I am such a huge fan now! This book was so perfect! I loved how unique the storyline was, the characters were fantastic, and the spice was hot! The narrators really did the book justice and really had me feeling all the emotions. Can’t wait to check out the next one in the series!

Dark and twisted

I’m a giant Lauren Biel fan so obviously I loved the story. The narrators did an excellent job, especially the female who had to pivot between the innocence and desperation of McKenzie and the crazed anger of Marcy. Definitely a fantastic listen for any dark romance lover!

Intriguing plot

The plot had me engaged from the very beginning. This is a very slooooooow burn (I’m talking zero spice), but I really enjoyed the push and pull between the characters. The cliffhanger was very intense. Narrators did a great job but I don’t necessarily think the male narrator was the right choice for these roles. The MMC’s are in their 20’s from the south and his voice definitely doesn’t come close to fitting that bill. Still a very enjoyable listen and I will definitely be continuing on to the next book!

Not bad but a bit slow

The last quarter of this book really saved it. There just wasn’t a lot going on with the story. It was all angst and very little action or spice. If you like a book that is based almost solely on emotions, then you would probably enjoy it a lot more than I did. The narrators did a pretty good job as well.

I’ve never read this author before. I will probably give them another shot because I did feel pretty invested in Reese’s character. I definitely feel like there will be a bit more going on in that story!

Another great installment

This is quickly becoming one of my all time favorite series! Steele and Aspen have off the charts chemistry and their story is full of twists and turns. Both performers did an excellent job of embodying these characters. I can’t wait to listen to the next one!

Perfect story and narration

I swear I never want to listen to an audiobook that isn’t narrated by Teddy Hamilton ever again! His voice is so swoon worthy and he makes me love every character that he voices.

As for the series, I am kicking myself having not read it sooner! Greyson is so crazy but I love him and he and Violet have off the charts chemistry! I’m definitely jumping right into the next book!

My new favorite audiobook!

This audiobook was absolute perfection! I don’t know that I can ever listen to Teddy Hamilton in another audiobook because he was so perfect for this role! The story was beautifully written- it was spicy, emotional, and funny all rolled into one. This was my first experience with Andi Jaxon but it definitely won’t be my last! Any fans of MM sports romance need to listen to this book!
