I bought this at the same time I bought Unglued. Bad decision. The author is super religious and lacks confidence. The narrator was better for this book than for Unglued, but it's the same underlying theme: Believe in God and you'll be fine. If you're not religious, this is NOT going to be helpful. It's got a few meaningful reassurances I guess, but the content is lacking beyond that. It points to God/Jesus as the solution to everything. It's not practical life changing advice.

I should've done more research on the author. Based on the Audible sample, I felt the material would be relatable. However, it's just too saturated with Bible/Jesus/God talk for me. I found it to be sappy, and more of an affirmation of God's love than a guide for controlling emotion. It's probably perfect for the religious listener. Very rooted in scripture and faith.
