Historia
Doris Grandfelt, an employee at an accounting firm, was brutally stabbed to death . . . but nobody knew exactly where the crime took place. Her body was found the next night, dumped among a dense thicket of trees along the edge of an urban park, eight miles east of St. Paul, Minnesota. Despite her twin sister Lara Grandfelt’s persistent calls to the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, the killer was never found.

Historia
Blake Larsen knows pain and trauma more than most cops. Her parents died in a brutal murder-suicide when she was just a teen. She's spent her entire life believing her father was a senseless murderer. One week ago, her elderly neighbors were found slaughtered. The scene was staged to look exactly the same as the night two decades earlier that stole Blake's future from her. And she doesn't believe in coincidence.

Slow moving to begin with slow but the story kept on growing
Revisado: 03-18-25
I struggled with the narrator to begin with as I prefer male readers, but she slowly grew on me and actually did a good job. The book was slow to begin with actually considered sending it back, but as I stuck with it, it turned out to be pretty good and entertaining

Historia
Over two grim nights in Los Angeles, the young followers of Charles Manson murdered seven people, including the actress Sharon Tate, then eight months pregnant. With no mercy and seemingly no motive, the Manson Family followed their leader's every order. Twenty years ago, when journalist Tom O'Neill was reporting a magazine piece about the murders, he worried there was nothing new to say. Then he unearthed shocking evidence of a cover-up behind the "official" story, including police carelessness, legal misconduct, and potential surveillance by intelligence agents.

Government cover-up
Revisado: 12-11-24
The book itself contains a lot of information, but it was also written in the first party, which made it hard to follow so many different people so many different scenarios bottom line definitely something is messed up about the murders. Who is covering for who CIA drug use mind control, selective prosecution, the incompetence the lying and obviously 40 years, cause a lot of issues
Still, it’s worth a listen
