Story was Good The AI Narration Awful

The Storyline was typical of this genre however the AI option to narrate the story a bad Idea. The AI was flat and monotone brought no life to the story I could have used the texted to talk option on my phone and would have been the same and I would not have had to pay for it.

So hopefully if your listening to this story you have either already read the other books in this storyline and you are a fan. The narrators read this book with such emotions that they brought it to life Addison did such a great job separating Aria from Ember and knocked their very different personalities out of the park and Troy did the same for Knox and Lennox.

Holy Cow Batman what was that!!!!!

So I am all for trying new Authors if I like their style or character development I will generally purchase all there stuff in the future. That unfortunately will not be the case with this author.
The heroine can only be evaluated as a declawed Spitting kitten. Not just that but she unrealistic in any universe even a fictional universe. It is not realistic to create a character who is part of some supernatural secret service but has no ability physical or magical to defend herself or members of her team. If that not bad enough let’s talk about her unrealistic and unreasonable expectations of those around her. She can’t defend herself but she keeps running head long into situations to save another person that she can’t because she has no defensive abilities. Then when the people in her team or around her take steps to stop or eliminate said threat she whines and complains about how they are handling the situation.
Let’s talk about this supernatural secret service that from book one you find out is as dirty and corrupt as the villains in this book so your not dealing with one group of corrupt people but 3 yes that right 3 but her faith is still the the SSE. Her love life is huge yo-yo mess
If your going to write a book like this at least have the bad azz heroine be bad azz or at the very least have them be in training the character will not take a self defense class or at least in the middle of two she still had not

Chapter 43 is A mess!!!!! But the story is Good and book version is correct

So, I love this story. I would like to point out that the audiobook company did a crappy job editing their audiobook in chapter 43 the male audio actor introduces chapter 44 which is actually the female audio actor chapter but beyond that the male actor actually reads all of chapter 45. The audiobook company should fix that and give all current owners a new copy or at the very least an update with corrections.
