This is the first book in The Actress series. It is a study of the relationship between a mother and her lesbian daughter.

Cordelia has OCD with a contamination disorder and may also have C-PTSD. This is her story told through multiple POV. I found it fascinating in its unconventionality.

The contents of this book are explicit with more emphasis on the sex acts than on any romance. This author specializes in Black and White interracial erotica.

This is a collection of short stories showcasing the author's various writing styles. The first story is told in second person POV, the next is told in first person, while the last is told in third person. Most of the stories are told by the white MC. The MC is different for each story. Some of the stories are very well told and I enjoyed them.

The narration is virtual voice.

Approximately three weeks before the fall of Saigon and the South Vietnamese regime Ralph White, a 27-year old junior executive with Chase Manhattan Bank, is assigned as manager of the bank's Saigon branch. This book tells the story of how he attempts and succeeds with a combination of luck and ingenuity in evacuating the employees of his branch.

Although this wasn't the author's intent, as a reader, i observed many similarities between the final days leading to the fall of Saigon in 1975 and the fall of Kabul in 2021. This made Mr. White's story even more inspiring for me.

Alex is one of thousands of women selected as potential mates for the alien supreme overlord. Since there is no shared language this is as much a monster lover as an alien lover story.

This is a short read comprising only three chapters; however, it is well told. My only complaint is the ending was abrupt for me.

This is the third story in the Leah & Jason trilogy; however, it can be enjoyed as a stand-alone story.

This story tells how Leah and Jason find sexual fulfillment by bringing Marcus into a polyamorous affair with them. It is graphic and very well told.

Very graphic sex scenes. one story was repeated inside another story. One story was overly long compared to the others and seemed disjointed. Nothing really memorable.

This is the first book in the Nightside series.

The series is focused on John Taylor, a private investigator based in London who has a gift for finding lost people or things in the Nightside, a dark, hidden netherworld of London in which the supernatural and science fiction super-technology co-exist.

The premise was interesting, but the execution was terrible. The Nightside is mentioned every few paragraphs and sometimes several times in a single paragraph. We are repeatedly told that anything can happen in the Nightside. Lose something in the laundry? It will show up in the Nightside.

All together, it reads like something wriitten by a teenager.

First book in the Blood and Tears series.

This is a well designed story of the personal growth and development of several leaders whose lives become intertwined. It is an epic fantasy told from many POV. My main complaint is the foreshadowing of the death of one of the main characters is handled poorly.

The author does a terrific job in presenting certain aspects of life in England during the 1820's and 30's and in the U.S. during the 1830's and 40's. His portrayals of the industrialization of England and the growth of a new religious movement in America are very disturbing and revealing.

The character development, plot, and story are among the best that I have read. The pacing is also excellent.

First book in the Bliss series.

The book starts out interesting. The protagonist escapes from a bad relationship that she entered because of love and despite the warnings of her friends and family. The lesson she learns from this is to avoid love since it can't be trusted. Lust is okay but no love.

Several years later she meets a sexy man, saying all the right things, who wants love and is not interested in sharing her; however, she has three friends with benefits. The plot is predictable but the story contains a lot of gratuitous sex set in flashbacks which don't move the story forward. Also, there is a lot of aggravating repetition in the story.

I found the roommate's story much more interesting.
