Historia
When our story begins, Julia Child is an eager but inexperienced codebreaker longing to prove herself in the male-dominated world of intelligence, and Josephine Baker is, well, Josephine Baker—a world-famous entertainer who is now leading a double life as a spy for the French Resistance. When a golden opportunity arises to infiltrate a high-stakes Nazi gala in Vichy France, Julia must put aside her by-the-book mentality to assist her unorthodox new partner.

I don't think this would be Mrs. Julia Childs approved.
Revisado: 04-04-25
This story portrait Mrs. Child as caricature, naive, clumsy with a very bad accent. So historically incorrect. Although Miss Josephine Baker lived at the same time I don't think she ever met Mrs. Child.

I felt this story needed to be edited. It became tedious and unbelievable. The narrators were good, but couldn't save the story.

This story would make a great series. Enjoyed the narrator and how he made each character stand out. Loved how the author wove a murder mystery around small town characters and made us care about them. Great story.

The story was on the right track to be good, but the narrator was terrible. Adding an additional symbol or letter to each sentence ending. It made it hard to get through the story.

It could have been a little more historical, a little too woke. I hate the fact that slavery happened but it did. we can't change it.
