Virtual voice was just okay, lots of missed words but hey what more can you ask of an ai voice narrator. I have read this book on kindle before and i loved it as much this time as the first time i read it. It is a lovely rom com focusing on a trans character.

It’s okay

This was simply lackluster. It felt like someone else wrote it, or maybe john no longer cares. Letty could be a great character hell she could be better than Lucas and Virgil, but this story was so boring even when it was trying to be fast paced and witty. And the narrator was all wrong, with Richard Ferrone having passed, i think Eric Conger would have been a better choice but hey maybe he is retired or dead i don’t know. But i think the best voice would have been a talented female narrator to give Letty her own unique voice. Im not saying i hated the book it was just utterly forgettable nothing in the story made me care.

WOW JUST WOW!!! I can not wait for the next book December can not come fast enough. Because that cliff hanger was intense!!!!

Sir Harry Knight of Winter and Warden of Demonreach

This is one of the best books the Dresden Files has to offer! Not only is is action packed. We also get a whole lot of lore in this outing of our favorite bedraggled arcane Private Investigator. Five stars for the story, and another five for James Marsters who as always brings our punchy hero to life.

James Marsters, is the one and only voice of Harry Dresden

As much as I enjoyed John Glovers narration of ghost story. James Marsters is the one true voice of this series! And i thank the stars above for having this version of the book. It is a great pleasure to have the whole series narrated by one voice. Five stars for Mr. Marsters performance.

Great story BUT!!!

Well this has been a journey. it was grueling at parts. And i will say that i loved it. having so many of my theories about the Cosmere proved right. And that of the stories plot. but damn that ending was like a slap in the spheres. Sanderson is truly the master of misdirection. While i did like the book! I prefer the fist three. but thats because those books are works of art. This ones seems to be more of a steppingstone to another story more important to the author.

What the arm

Well that just happened what could have been a fantastic end was more like a whimper. I don’t understand how people can think this story worth 5 stars. What was a five star story is overall less because of this installment. The only redemption is Owen, Starbuck and slo-mo the sloth. Luke Daniels is amazing as usual but at the same time it feels like his heat is not in it.
I think perhaps the author was simply sick of his first success unfortunately his disinterest became a disservice to his fans. he comes straight out and says its the end for atticus at least and then instead of giving him the last adventure befitting an ancient hero he just decides to have his life fizzle into despair and unhappiness.

Well whatever I’m done i don’t think ill be enjoying anymore Kevin Hearn stories because of this ending.
