I've been reading these books since they first came out gosh I guess it's been 20 years ago. I had never finished the series so I started on Audible with book one and just finished this final book in the series. These characters became my friends, when things were hard I would think about their lives rather than my own. they were my Escape. they helped me to deal with all the hard things I was going through in my own life. it's hard to believe that it's finally done. Epic.

Historia
Since accepting a teaching position at remote Fairwick College in upstate New York, Callie McFay has experienced the same disturbingly erotic dream every night: A mist enters her bedroom then takes the shape of a virile, seductive stranger who proceeds to ravish her in the most toe-curling, wholly satisfying ways possible. But Callie soon realizes that her dreams are alarmingly real. She has a demon lover - an incubus - and he will seduce her, pleasure her, and eventually suck the very life from her. Then Callie makes another startling discovery....

Oh you naughty Incubus you!
Revisado: 09-24-13
What made the experience of listening to The Demon Lover the most enjoyable?
At first I bought this just for a light read, not expecting much except for it to be a paranormal romance novel. Picked it out just to have something to listen to on the way to work... it is a hot little number to say the least! After listening for a bit I didn't think there was going to be much to the story line except sex, and good sex to boot.. but the storyline did progress and I became engrossed... the second book is even better.
What other book might you compare The Demon Lover to and why?
I would say that - Laurell K Hamilton and the Merry Gentry Series is pretty close, though she has not yet gotten the breadth and scope of Hamilton's writing...
What about Justine Eyre’s performance did you like?
She has a nice voice, but used that breathy tone just a little too much for my taste. Though i got used to her...

Even Better than the first Book!
Revisado: 09-24-13
What made the experience of listening to The Water Witch the most enjoyable?
I loved the storyline in the first book, this one fell right into place, continuing without interruption...
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Water Witch?
The ending was superb, i was kept guessing all the way through the book until the last moment, and then left hanging so that I HAVE to get the next book in the series...
What does Justine Eyre bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
In the first book Justine's breathy voice got on my nerves. She let off just a little bit in this book and I actually began to enjoy hearing her voice.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I loved it! The first book was a succubus sex fest, this one actually took more time with the plot which I enjoyed... though I have no issues with the racy parts... i am glad to see that they were not the most prominent part to the book as I love the characters.
Any additional comments?
Definitely worth the money!
