Beyond amazing....

for the first time in many years I have a book that I not only found engaging and exciting but found myself staying up just to finish. I couldn't stop listening! having a degree in Forensics I am usually able to guess who the bad guy is relatively quickly. when the bad guy was actually revealed I actually gasped out loud! to top off a phenomenal new authors book, new series was the narrator Kirsten Potter. the woman is amazing as a narrator and only made this book all the more enjoyable! can't wait for the next one to come out!!

this book was amazing. I love the series but have always wondered on some of the cases if that was really....alll... and to be able to get a much more personal side was astounding. this book will be one I now will purchase in print as well as audio CD to play over and over.

well done Lt. Kenda. may the nightmares lessen and the new joys you and yours have found bring you many more happy days to replace the dark ones.

wow! amazing book

I was skeptical about the book. I recently got into murder mystery books but find them often boring as I can guess the killer with 99% accuracy by chapter 4.....this book however just blew my perfect record. first it was this person, then nope, had to be that one, then WHAM..... surprise ... least one you expect.

I loved the way the author talked from different view points, from Thorne, the killer, Alice, Anne...all gave her insight and depth to the book. and yes...I sobbed at the end of the book.

Simon prebble....the man is officially on my bucket list to meet. his narrations are beyond amazing, from this book, to Dickens and Poe, to some of the most erotic scenes in a Stephanie laurens book, the man can capture and hold. I am fairly sure that if the US Constitution were to be read by him, at least 80% of us USA citizens would be able to recite it just from having listened to HIM read it.

omg!! what an AMAZING book

I've never been moved to actually write a review. I honestly bought the book because of Kirsten potter. she is my absolute favorite narrator. HOWEVER, after the first 5 mins, I was hooked. I've listened.to it 3 times now, getting new info each time. I've even had my husband, parents and best friend read it. the amount of info, insight and quality of the book is beyond amazing. my only complaint..... that she hasn't written a follow up to this. the book stops in 2007 and I am sure that there has been many more instances, studies and new information that has come out that only Amanda Ripley can so exquisitely bring to life.

amazing !! I can't wait for the next book to come out. I am officially a huge Maya banks fan now. narrator was great and I felt involved...there are some narrators who just drone...no inflection. Kirsten Potter, she just makes the stories come alive.
