Historia
I’m just a typical Christian girl with nothing but my family, school, and my relationship with God on my mind. I’m not perfect; trust me when I say I have my faults. But life was good. Nonetheless, one encounter with a guy from the wrong side of town sent my world into a tailspin I had no hope of getting control of on my own. I don’t think there have ever been two people whose lives contradicted the other like ours did. Every rendezvous with Marcel Maxwell brought with it some kind of chaos, but there was something else that also came along for the ride....

Another great book by Norelle Smith
Revisado: 01-10-22
This is the 2nd book I’ve read by this author. This book was a great read. She has a way of pulling you into the lives of the characters and you just want to find out more. I enjoyed this story of incredible redemption. A great read for older teens and above.

Historia
Francesca Romano’s life is no fairy tale. Hers is an uncontrolled world of silent tears and torment, where love crumbles and tragedy looms because of things left untold - because of the secrets that are kept. A world where honesty is obsolete, and youthful rebellion turns into total chaos. Francesca tries to gain control when she disappears to a new place, hoping to never be found. To a place where she can start anew and escape the despair, emptiness, and fear of her former world.

Don’t judge a book by it’s cover
Revisado: 01-04-22
Thoroughly enjoyed this book. I felt a connection with the characters which kept the story interesting and left me wanting to read more.
This book would be a good read for any late teen/adult. I have a family of readers, and I would recommend this book to my older teens.
When I choose books, I am often swayed by which one I will read next based on the cover. At first glance, this one would be one I would not pick up. I like the “idea” of the cover after having read it, but I don’t feel like it does the story it’s full justice.
I am still left wondering WHEN Francesca had her tattoo covered….
Overall, read this story. You will enjoy the unfolding of the events.
