Historia
“The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—whenever the sons of God went in to the daughters of men, who bore to them children. They were the mighty men of antiquity, men of renown.” — Genesis 6:4 Few sections of the Bible have been as controversial and misunderstood as Genesis 6:1–4. Who were the Nephilim? Were they giants? And who were the sons of God? Fallen angels, godly men, or wicked tyrants? Wild speculations and sensational claims abound, generating more questions than answers. Regrettably, this misinformation leads many to adopt conspiracy theories...

FALLEN REVIEW
Revisado: 03-14-25
This book is a remarkable work of research by the author on this very debated subject and I agree with the main argument event if I hold some differences from the author conclusion on something minor.
The Artificial voice is quite good and there are minor errors on some note points, but other than that it was fine.

Historia
For fans of Cassandra Clare's City of Bones and Laini Taylor's Daughter of Smoke & Bone, The Girl at Midnight is the story of a modern girl caught in an ancient war. Beneath the streets of New York City live the Avicen, an ancient race of people with feathers for hair and magic running through their veins. Age-old enchantments keep them hidden from humans. All but one. Echo is a runaway pickpocket who survives by selling stolen treasures on the black market, and the Avicen are the only family she's ever known.

The Girl at Midnight
Revisado: 08-09-20
I started to read this book without any notion of the similarities other GR readers attached to it... I'm referring to The mortal Instruments series or Daughter of Smoke & Bone that I don't know at all so I enjoyed this story and this take of the author about mythology very much and even if there were parts of the dialogs a little bit over the top and the end was a little too easy I loved this story and characters. The writing was so poetic and the narrator's performance was excellent!

Just the perfect read with the perfect narrator
Revisado: 07-14-20
I'd never read the original book before. It has been on my books shelf for a few years now...but when I discovered that Julia Whelan, one of my all times favorite narrators, performed the narration of this classic I had to get it and finally listening to that, and I'm so glad I did because this was simply perfect!
The perfect story narrated by the perfect narrator.
I really hope Amazon will get Julia Whelan as the narrator for the entire series of these Anne's books.
I'll surely buy the whole package with Ms. J. Whelan as the performer.

Historia
Stella Ainsley leaves poverty behind when she quits her engineering job aboard the Stalwart to become a governess on a private ship. On the Rochester, there’s no water ration, more books than one person could devour in a lifetime, and an AI who seems more friend than robot. But no one warned Stella that the ship seems to be haunted, nor that it may be involved in a conspiracy that could topple the entire interstellar fleet.

Absolutely more than I expected...
Revisado: 10-08-18
The main reason I loved this book and story was the perfect combination of the remarkable talented narrative/narrator combined with a really skilled plot and a clever and original retelling of a classic Jane Eyre.
I have also to underline that everything settled in Space has a weaked spot on me, so this was just a perfect result in my personal taste.
A little note for the author though, I would have updated some technical devices to open the rooms doors on the sophisticated Rochester ship...
Nonetheless, I do recommend this book to everyone that had loved the ACROSS THE UNIVERSE trylogy by Beth Revis. I could just sense the influence this author got from that beautiful artwork so just give this book a try.

Fat Girl Walking is a collection of stories from my life, my thoughts about the issues that I have faced as a woman, wife, mom, daughter, daughter-in-law, and Internet personality in regards to my weight. I have tried to be as honest as I possibly could - apologies in advance to my husband and parents, but hopefully any discomfort you feel is quickly replaced by laughter.

Reveling and interesting
Revisado: 08-19-18
One of the main reasons I wanted this book was because of the magnificent narrator, Lauren Fortgang, and because of the subject of this book, and I have to confirm that my expectations have been satisfied. Also I captured some very good and interesting ideas for what my future job would like to be...

I had a lot of suspicions about this second Grisha book... some of them told that the pace was too slow but I found it just as interesting and fascinating as the first one and now I can't wait to start the last one.

Revisado: 03-16-18
So, the narrator's performance is remarkable, really great, as it's the writing... Ms Bardugo conjured a very capturing and original story, and when two talents like these two meet I find a perfect combination. Can't wait to listen to and read the following books in this series.
