Wow this just came out and was super excited the prologue was funomenal

I’ll edit once I finish completely but wow. My last read of a different book and author was mediocre so I can compare the superb writing, story telling and narration of this book and I’m excited for the rest . One of the best prologues I ever went through. Thank you! The attention to military doctrine, discipline in face of the human aspects of a zombie apocalypse is exactly what I was looking for

Good but annoying characters even the “smart” ones, it’s as if deductive reasoning left the earth

I found myself skipping a lot in the beginning trying to get to the meat of the story and not the weird buildup flush to build tension but is mostly hr characters being stupid. Thought it would be actual conflict

Wow what a spectacular series and hope for more from this author. The voice acting was top notch switching between characters and by the end was waking tears for the fallen and journey

Loved all of it, book 1 was great this was even better

I loved the narration the more candid and realistic human and military decisions that weren’t cartoony like TWD or other zombie genres but not too kitted up tactical like others.

I love the layup of the fallings and pros of the US military industrial complex at work and organization how it adapts and fails to adapt to the zombie apocalypse while also interesting balance of zombie threat without being too weak or overwhelming at times based on scenarios

I am very much excited for the next installment and sad I finished so quick

Exhausting and hateful story with hateful characters for absolute no reason other than cartoony corporate infighting and even more psychopath nonsense view of others.

Not much alien or action. The build up was annoying and finally got the aliens in the picture but a bad taste in my mouth

Utmost possibly the most captivating book ever

The quality of narration was amazing.
It was quite a ride to follow Thrawn and Eli from start to finish.
highly recommend to star wars fans.
Thrawn has taken lead over any other character, from any Sith or Jedi it is easy to understand his doctrine rather than the muted or conflicted feelings other characters in the universe bare
