Extremely Helpful If Your Unfortunate Enough

Yes, as newly estranged parents we were glued to this book. We were able to understand reasons for this unthinkable thing that happened to us. It was nice to hear that others have felt all the same emotions we have. So sad to know we are not alone. Great guidence on what not to do, also! In fact, those are the very things you'd be inclined to do! Joshua Coleman is definitely a hughly reguarded and qualified professional on this topic. And sadly has personal experience with it too.
This seems to be a sweeping trend with Malenials.
I will use lots of the advice in this book. It has also helped me understand what is truely not something I thought I'd ever understand! Although I wasnt given a choice. If I could afford to have his help through his private practice, I'd do it in a minute.
The book has valuable information. Best wishes to all that need this book. I'm so sorry you do.

Great tools for learning to apply compassion to yourself and others. So rich in peace and harmony that applies to life. This book changed me. Tara is an amazing author and meditation teacher, along with being a therapist.

Family Currency was Money not Love

Great writer. Knowledgeable and very intelligent author.
More than I ever wanted to know about the Donald!
It confirmed what I already knew about this shallow heartless person who is the “president” You could blame his Father but at some point you have to become an adult and he never has.
Thanks for sharing your sad family heritage. It took courage. You’ve turned out fantastic!

Great Uplifting Read

I absolutely loved this book! It seemed like it was right from my own heart! I agree and get everything she says in her wild all over the place thoughts. I laughed out loud so many times! I was touched by grace and her insights!
I will wait eagerly for her next book!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I do recommend this if you are starting your journey in minimalism. I was inspired to sell a lot of "stuff"! I agree that the meaning in life is not things and monetary success.

Both.

Being real.

Minimizing my consumerism. Living for what matters.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I wanted to like this book. I was interested because she left Fox News.
She just brags about all of her accomplishments (not impressive)
She had a couple of hardships but seemed to live a very privileged life.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Not sure. So many choices!

Smug and snobby.

Amazing Story of Courage

What did you love best about A Hope More Powerful Than the Sea?

A very enlightening book about the struggles of a Syrian refugee woman. A look at a life that I knew nothing about. I am a changed person and have much more compassion toward the people of these war torn countries.

Which character – as performed by Robin Miles – was your favorite?

Doa was a very brave strong woman.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Not sure but ut would be great.

A must read if you care to get a first hand account of a refugees struggle and pain.
