Good Information, Virtual Narration Kills the Story
Revisado: 07-12-24
There is good information in this book and it is very well formatted. However, the virtual voices for full book narration should not be used. It must just save the author a good amount of money because they are terrible. They have come a long way but nowhere near the dramatic effects that a human can correlate to the audience. It makes it very robotic and insincere.

Historia
The Courage to Be Disliked, already an enormous best seller in Asia with more than 3.5 million copies sold, demonstrates how to unlock the power within yourself to be the person you truly want to be. Using the theories of Alfred Adler, one of the three giants of 20th-century psychology, The Courage to Be Disliked follows an illuminating conversation between a philosopher and a young man. The philosopher explains to his pupil how each of us is able to determine our own life, free from the shackles of past experiences, doubts, and the expectations of others.

Great Conceptual Interpretation for Philosophical Understanding
Revisado: 01-08-23
The formatting & stylistic approach to convey the authors message in an everyday understanding is outstanding. Provides compelling arguments in the form of the youthful student and his pessimistic views and questions for the wise teacher. The approach that flips the teaching into story telling is not a new one but it’s refreshing to have it be effective and resonate through everyday use. I recommend this book for any level reader looking for a viewpoint that does not fit with many social norms that are popular today. Highly recommend for anyone that is at a crossroads or stuck in the mundane repetitiveness of life and may need a different view. This book is easy to read and hard to put down. I often found myself eagerly anticipating my next opportunity to progress the story and where it was leading through a teaching perspective. I was not disappointed.

Historia
This explosive new audiobook challenges many of the long-held assumptions about blacks, about Jews, about Germans and Nazis, about slavery, and about education. Plainly written, powerfully reasoned, and backed with a startling array of documented facts, Black Rednecks and White Liberals takes on the trendy intellectuals of our times as well as historic interpreters of American life.

Enjoyable Counter Cultural View Point
Revisado: 03-29-22
I thoroughly Enjoy Thomas Sowell’s keen insight into a variety of topics but he is in his best writing form when examining race and race relations without filters. I am a white man and I am not apologetic for those that came before me and wrapped themselves in shared cloaks of ignorance. I despise and detest the hate that came from Americas brief history but have always believed to ignore the entire scope of the issue globally, is short sided and serving a purpose for the storyteller. To not talk about aspects on a worldly scale, by what was an acceptable practice by otherwise reasonable and honest people is subjectively wearing blinders to fit an agenda. The guilty few that forget how insignificant their position is in the grand scheme but want to be the champion for history when it’s already written are lacking their grip on reality. Especially when there is so much that can be done through actual work.
Sowell’s view on the self inflicted inner city problems further propagated by helping hands of the guilty white should be more widely read. As Franklin Douglas so simply put it, Let me be! If the apple is meant to fall then let it fall. Do not fasten to the branch by foreign means. Let nature runs its course. I am paraphrasing but the message to get out of the way and help when asked. Life is hard I don’t want anyone making excuses for me when I fall. Let me dust myself off and learn from the mistake.
Fantastic read. Recommend for all.
