Historia
Liv’s happy with life in her thirties. She has two cats, one BFF, and no boyfriend, which is just how she likes it. Plus, she loves working at a not-for-profit software company where she can be her authentically autistic self. This is her happy ever after. But when her beloved firm merges with a repulsive rival, Liv finds herself competing with her sort-of-ex for the top job. Sure, Finn had been Liv’s best friend, with his nerdy good looks and their shared love of Tolkien, but there was that one night, their song, and … well, she doesn’t like to talk about it.

This was a very raw and emotional experience of a young Jewish woman who was sent to Auschwitz. An amazing story of inhuman and cruel treatment and the will to survive that defied the odds on her way to happiness. Highly recommend!

It was hard to get through so parts, so painful how these kids were treated, however, it was covered well and a true story can be difficult knowing it’s real lives involved.

Historia
The novel Bad Associations Spoil Useful Habits documents the mental distress of two PIMO Jehovah’s Witnesses, Horace Brewer and Taze Felix, as they naively navigate the confusing and unfamiliar world outside of The Watchtower organization. It highlights their desperate search for freedom and mental wellbeing amidst the highly restrictive and mentally exhausting world of The Watchtower. In their attempt to find authentic friendship and unconditional love, they innocently associate with several equally mentally exhausted “worldly” people. The “worldly” characters, Denny Wister, ...

As an ExJw myself, found odd:/
Revisado: 07-30-24
The narrator was too robotic for me to engage. As an ExJw in association with many other ExJws, the story line seemed very discombobulated and far fetched. If gross effect was intended, it was achieved, which in my opinion detracted from any sense of validity in the story. I read through hoping to find something real and interesting, but I did not.
However, I am open to see if there is anyone who would be willing to help me see any points I may have missed.

Historia
These pages represent two chapters of my recently updated book, The REAL Purpose-Driven Life plus an additional chapter on good versus evil. I removed the afore-mentioned chapters because I wanted to focus, in that book, on the central moral concept known as purpose. These chapters, although central to an understanding of the morality of Ayn Rand, stand on their own and provide several important insights on how to think about morality and apply it to the life of the individual.
