I love all of these books, but Simon Vance (the previous narrator), sounds like he's about to suck your blood.
maybe I'm biased because he narrated Dracula, but I struggled with that narration.

I have never been a Stephen King fan, I've read very few of his books, and stayed away because of two reasons.
1: my mother is...for lack of a better word, unstable. she adored kings books.
Tim (his holiness} Curry scared me as pennywise so badly when I was a kid, that the town library got it's book back unread, after having it in my hot little hand for maybe 6 hours.

between those two reasons, I've been looking for a story like this.
my own husband was a bad alcoholic for so many years.
it's so wonderful to read about Danny's own struggle and how he continues to overcome and improve.
it's wonderful seeing someone struggle so closely to my own husband's sobriety struggle.

if you read this, this book is fantastic and, in a way, l want to thank anyone who's struggling through sobriety.
stay strong, because you're not alone.

but the book itself? in a small summary;
excellent book.
extremely well written.
sk has a platinum vernacular.
he truly sees people, and has massive understanding of so much humanity.

the shining was brilliant, Dr sleep is even more so.

I have listened to all of her books but I think this one is my favorite one I haven't listened to haunted homecoming but I think that it will be a good one.

Oberon is my spirit animal.
seriously.
he's laugh out loud funny, and he's absolutely sincere.
if the story wasn't so well done, I'd still listen just for Oberon.
