Historia
Retirement is bliss—or is it? Newly retired music teacher, Susan Wiles, puts her natural nosiness to work and discovers a talent for solving murders. In Murder is Elementary, Susan finds her former principal dead on the office floor, a half-eaten funfetti cupcake on the desk, and a list of suspects rivaling pre-pandemic lines at Disney! In book two, a dead body is discovered in a construction site behind a school. Susan puts her sleuthing skills into action to save her husband’s best friend, Tank, who is accused of the crime. While Susan works to solve this mystery and exonerate Tank, ...

AI generated reading is not the way to go
Revisado: 02-26-24
I have not finished this story because I can’t get past the reading. I can’t get a good feel for the book bc there is no emotion in the reading. It seemed alright at first, but it’s not. A robot(computer) is reading the book and that’s what it sounds like.
There are mispronunciations bc some words are read phonetically. Pauses in dictation are not correct. Either, they aren’t there, or the pauses aren’t in the correct places.
I may go back and try again. If the company wants this book to be listened to, they are going to have to have an actual person read it.
Computers are good for some things. This is not one of them.

Great story

This is a great story that gives eye opening and tender insight into atrocious choices that built our county.

A must read
Revisado: 08-17-23
This is a heart breaking, gut wrenching, eye opening read. I knew all of this, but I didn’t KNOW it. The bravery and strength of the people who paved this pathway is immeasurable as is the hatred they endured.

Worst book I’ve listened to
Revisado: 08-10-23
Simple and repetitive conversation
Long drawn out way to get to an ending that wasn’t even the focused development of the book.
All the dialogue did nothing to add to the book and made listening tedious.
