Historia
Timothy and Jonah, wealthy entrepreneurs with a spoiled son, hide sins from their past—one involving a death on a cruise, the other a crime in Bali. Nathan and Samantha, the hot ex-nanny turned trophy wife, grapple with infertility and a shocking paternity secret. Bartosz and Angelika (he’s a chef, she’s a former sex worker) carry debts to the other couples they don’t even realize they owe. Over fourteen days, the couples bond—but their pasts are too deeply intertwined to stay hidden. The sly concierge, Putu, knows more than he lets on.

Historia
A young woman accuses a prominent local college athlete of rape. Convicted with the help of indisputable DNA evidence, the athlete swears his innocence and threatens both his lawyer and his accuser as he's sent to prison. Not long after, there's another rape, and the DNA test shows that the same person committed both rapes - which is seemingly impossible since the man convicted of the first rape was in prison at the time of the second one. Now, the convicted athlete, joined by a new lawyer, is granted a new trial and bail.

Historia
Kate Hibbert is all too eager to lend a hand to her neighbors. Although she has been a resident of the sleepy village of Lochdubh for only a year, in that time Kate has alienated one too many of its residents with her interfering—and not entirely well-intentioned—ways. When Kate’s neighbor sees her lugging a heavy suitcase to the bus stop, he hopes that the prying woman is gone for good. But two weeks later, Kate’s cousin arrives in town with the news that Kate has gone missing.

Another Missed Opportunity to win back fans of Hamish Macbeth
Revisado: 02-21-25
I disliked the entire story. The supporting Lochdubh characters have been sprinkled gratuitously and sparingly throughout the story. The storyline is all over the place. I admire R. W. Green for trying to keep the Agatha Raisin and Hamish Macbeth books going. He is making progress with understanding Agatha Raisin. However Hamish not at all. Books 35, 36 and 37 have been very disappointing. In fact I have returned 2 of these and plan on returning this latest book. I keep listening, hoping the story will get better but it never does.

Story and narrator were below expectations
Revisado: 02-17-24
This is no longer the fun and quirky Hamish Macbeth books. The villagers of Lochdubh are being replaced by boring and uninteresting characters. Also the narrator read with no emotion. I checked to see if an “A.I.” was used. Last Hamish for me.

Great story
Revisado: 11-25-20
So excited to find a “new” author to follow. Characters were believable and are easy to connect with. Feared the dog might have been a “gimmick” but “Robo” was better than expected. Author had incite into how a K-9 handler and dog work together. The plot was straightforward and not contrived.
Narrator was perfect.
Looking forward to listening to more Timber Creek K-9 Mysteries.
