There’s a logical (Hiaasenian) explanation for that, but not for how and why it parted from its shadowy owner. Yancy thinks the boating-accident/shark-luncheon explanation is full of holes, and if he can prove murder, the sheriff might rescue him from his grisly Health Inspector gig (it’s not called the roach patrol for nothing).

What made the experience of listening to Mockingjay the most enjoyable?
After spending so much time with the charachters in the previous bookd it was so good to hear them again. Very sorry to see them go.
What did you like best about this story?
It was a fitting end for people who have been through so much tradegy. Not all sunshine and flowers but as real as it could have been.

Maybe Twilight or Harry Potter , probably because of the new world created by the author. The protagonist is strong and well defined. Anyone can feel for their plight.

If you could sum up A Discovery of Witches in three words, what would they be?
REALLY slow starting but worth the wait, once it got moving it was very enjoyable. Though the ending was disappointing it did leave the reader looking forward to the next novel.
What did you like best about this story?
A nie twist on traditional lore.
What does Jennifer Ikeda bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I really enjoyed the narrator’s portrayal of the various characters.

Ken Follet is a master. His books are modern day classics. Well researched and written a joy to experience. John Lee has to be the best Narrator in the business. He could make a dryer instruction manual sound interesting. In Fall of Giants, as in his other works, Lee’s consistency and character distinction are impressive indeed. Where this complex and intertwined story line with numerous characters would have been a disaster in another’s hands in Lee’s capable grasp the story unfolds clearly and beautifully. A book to savor.
