I wish this book had been around when I dealt with the sudden loss of my grandmother a couple of years ago. This book would have helped me when I felt utterly lost, unsure how to handle the flood of emotions. This book provided a comforting, practical approach to navigating grief. The breakdown of what to expect and the gentle encouragement to move forward at my own pace would have made a big difference when dealing with the grief that I went through. I appreciated how the book acknowledged the unique challenges of sudden loss while offering tools to cope and heal. It didn’t feel preachy or overwhelming—just supportive and relatable. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking guidance during such a challenging period. The narrator did a phenomenal job of reading the book.
