Very good story, but skips a lot.
Revisado: 04-01-25
Over all this story is very good. The narrator is pretty good, but the recording skips a lot. Chapter 11 is impossible to listen to because of the skips.

This is a very good story. Unfortunately AI voice is still not good at inflection or pace. Still it was a good story.

Historia
Told from four-year-old Laura's point of view, this story begins in 1871 in a little log cabin on the edge of the Big Woods of Wisconsin. Laura lives in the little house with her pa, her ma, her sisters Mary and Carrie, and their trusty dog, Jack. Pioneer life is sometimes hard for the family, since they must grow or catch all their own food as they get ready for the cold winter. But it is also exciting as Laura and her family celebrate Christmas with homemade toys and treats, do the spring planting, bring in the harvest, and make their first trip into town.

How can you not love the little house books?! Having read these over and over as a child being able to listen was a treat. The singing was not great, but the stories were good!

amazing
Revisado: 11-13-23
I just want to thank the author for such a moving book. I listened to it in 2 sessions!
This book is a very detailed account of the authors canoe trip to northern Canada. Unless you enjoy outdoor books detailing specifics of camping and canoeing, you may find it boring. I however, enjoyed all the care put into the details. This rates up with Hatchet in my opinion. I also enjoyed the quotes from various books. Plus it is read by the author!

What do you do when you try to turn into a dragon or a kitten, but you accidentally turn into a dritten instead? Or you try to conjure fire but can only make flurries? Or maybe you get to fly, but you can’t come back down? For Nory and her friends in Dunwiddle Magic School’s Upside-Down Magic class, magic is amazing, unpredictable, and out of control!

My 8 yr old daughter absolutely loved this
Revisado: 11-08-23
This was so much fun to listen to. There were a few times it glitched, but turning it off and then on again worked. It is much better than the movie. My daughter absolutely loved it and is asking for the rest of the series.
Bad part: very hard to skip books. There are not any dividing points.

Guy Montag is a fireman. In his world, where television rules and literature is on the brink of extinction, firemen start fires rather than put them out. His job is to destroy the most illegal of commodities, the printed book, along with the houses in which they are hidden. Montag never questions the destruction and ruin his actions produce, returning each day to his bland life and wife, Mildred, who spends all day with her television "family."

Absolutely moving
Revisado: 07-08-23
This audio book was read very well and was easy to listen to. 451 was just as amazing and thought provoking as it was when I read it in school years ago. I enjoyed the narrator's different voices and tones for the characters. I just kept listening and listening! You know it's a good book when you don't want to put it down.
