Historia
Every day without fail, Travis Devine puts on a cheap suit, grabs his faux-leather briefcase, and boards the 6:20 commuter train to Manhattan, where he works as an entry-level analyst at the city’s most prestigious investment firm. In the mornings, he gazes out the train window at the lavish homes of the uberwealthy, dreaming about joining their ranks. In the evenings, he listens to the fiscal news on his phone, already preparing for the next grueling day in the cutthroat realm of finance. Then one morning Devine’s tedious routine is shattered by an anonymous email: She is dead.

Historia
The Bobiverse is a different place in the aftermath of the Starfleet War, and the days of the Bobs gathering in one big happy moot are far behind. There’s anti-Bob sentiment on multiple planets, the Skippies playing with an AI time bomb, and multiple Bobs just wanting to get away from it all. But it all pales compared to what Icarus and Daedalus discover on their 26,000-year journey to the center of the galaxy.

Good continuation of the BOVIVERSE story. I wasn't expecting some of the left-turns. Definitely want to see where Dennis takes this.

Historia
Civil war looms in the Bobiverse in this brand-new, epic-length adventure by Audible number one best seller Dennis E. Taylor. More than a hundred years ago, Bender set out for the stars and was never heard from again. There has been no trace of him despite numerous searches by his clone-mates. Now Bob is determined to organize an expedition to learn Bender’s fate - whatever the cost. But nothing is ever simple in the Bobiverse. Bob’s descendants are out to the 24th generation now, and replicative drift has produced individuals who can barely be considered Bobs anymore.

Good storyline
Revisado: 04-23-25
I really like the BOBIVERSE. The story is unique, and true to "human" behavior. I like the way Dennis describes interactions with alien civilizations, and how they don't necessarily think like us.
I love the references to othe sci-fi genre, Star Trek, Stargate & especially EXPEDITIONARY FORCE. (Hail Skipoy)

Historia
The epic and highly anticipated conclusion to the listener-favorite series that had countless Audible listeners (and employees) hooked from the very first Bob - featuring, as always, a flawless performance from the inimitable Ray Porter. Being a sentient spaceship really should be more fun. But after spreading out through space for almost a century, Bob and his clones just can't stay out of trouble. They've created enough colonies so humanity shouldn't go extinct.

Bob Johansson didn't believe in an afterlife, so waking up after being killed in a car accident was a shock. To add to the surprise, he is now a sentient computer and the controlling intelligence for a Von Neumann probe. Bob and his copies have been spreading out from Earth for 40 years now, looking for habitable planets. But that's the only part of the plan that's still in one piece.

There's a reason We Are Legion was named Audible's Best Science Fiction Book of 2016: Its irresistibly irreverent wit! Bob Johansson has just sold his software company for a small fortune and is looking forward to a life of leisure. The first item on his to-do list: Spending his newfound windfall. On an urge to splurge, he signs up to have his head cryogenically preserved in case of death. Then he gets himself killed crossing the street. Waking up 117 years later, Bob discovers his mind has been uploaded into a sentient space probe with the ability to replicate itself.

Good, light-hearted story
Revisado: 04-08-25
The storyline is unique, and well told. I like the level of detail, in that it's not too much, allowing my imagination to run, while following a good story.
The narration is also very good. while Bob is the same, but slightly different, the narrator helps distinguish characters.
Overall a good read/listen.

WARNING: Due to disturbing content, this book is intended for MATURE READERS ONLY. The underworld is rising in Midian, Tennessee, a small town and burgeoning hotspot of demonic activity. When a string of savage and horrific murders committed by demons shocks the town, the unsuspecting Sheriff's Department scrambles to track down the culprit. Working outside the bounds of the law is Deputy Archibald "Arch" Stan and demon hunter Lafayette Hendricks. Good story, but again, the virtual voice sucks!
Very interesting story with diverse characters and a great plot. But unfortunately the virtual voice doesn't know how to change pitch for characters (as a human narrator would). Also doesn't pause between story lines (when the scene shifts between locations but at the events are occurring at the same time). Honestly, I've had to back up the audio to catch the changes.

From Million-Selling Author Robert J. Crane... A demon hunter without a home. A cop without a cause. A seemingly unstoppable evil rising in a small town... WARNING: Contains violence, coarse language and sexual situations. Archibald "Arch" Stan was a local cop in Midian, Tennessee that was good at his job, good at being a husband, and exceptionally good at hiding his disappointment at not being able to figure out what was missing in his life that made it all seem so empty.Lafayette Hendricks looked like a drifter, a broken-down hitchhiker blown through Midian on the prevailing winds. Horrible AI Narrator
Revisado: 02-10-25
I like the story Robert Crane tells. It has a great story line, and the characters are interesting.
However, the AI narrator is REALLY BAD! No inflection, no change in tone or pitch, which makes it difficult to follow when there are multiple people talking (which is most of the time). Often, there's no pause when switching scenes, which is an intricale
intricel part at one point.
Again... I liked the story, but the AI narrator ruins it. Read the book.

Not good
Revisado: 11-21-24
The "virtual voice" narration was horrible. It didn't fluctuate at all; between characters or to punctuate words (when needed).
The writing/sentences also did not flow. Ideas and details where broken up by other thoughts.
Honestly, this was a free book. In hopes of getting the listener to buy the 2nd. But if the 2nd book was also free, I wouldn't listen to it.
