RC Brady did a great job narrating this, but it is one of the worst books I have ever listen to. It is nothing like the pre-face leads you to think it is it’s one of the few books I really really regret wasting a credit on.

A bumbling mess

This has been one of the hardest books to get through in a very long time. I listen to these books while I commute usually books, make the time pass by quickly this one made it very hard. I got about an hour or two into it at a time before I had to switch to something else, I think I finish this book more out of a force of will then actually enjoying it. It was so repetitive and not at one point is not excited about anything happening. As much as I enjoyed the core beginning of these books, this is the last book of Captain Maddox that I will be reading.

this book goes against everything setup in the other books. your best bet is to pretend like this never happened and enjoy all the other books and leave out Ragnarok.

Reacher never seems to be able to stay out of trouble. This time around he has another strong female companion and she allows him to be a little more vulnerable in this story. As always Dick Hill makes the characters come to life.
