I really appreciate this series. Honestly VH could continue writing these books forever and I’d keep buying them.

This has been one of the hardest books to get through in a very long time. I listen to these books while I commute usually books, make the time pass by quickly this one made it very hard. I got about an hour or two into it at a time before I had to switch to something else, I think I finish this book more out of a force of will then actually enjoying it. It was so repetitive and not at one point is not excited about anything happening. As much as I enjoyed the core beginning of these books, this is the last book of Captain Maddox that I will be reading.

I love the religious references, its one of the best things that separates VH from all the others, well that and his awesome writing!

Not bad but Maddocks arrogance got old at the start of the series. It this that stops me from rereading the series - I tried and just could not do it
