I have listened to this three times and still enjoy it even though I know the endings for each story. Great performances and well written for radio plays. I want to actually read the novels now.

A Great Bittersweet Story

This is my first Murakami book. There are people like Tsukuru in this world. People who are not colourful and popular but they bring meaning to others in interesting ways. I keep listening to this story over and over again. The pilgrimage can be dark and bittersweet but it has some measure of hope.

For Those Who Are Struggling

This is a wonderful book for those who are returning to the faith, struggling with it or if you are new to Catholicism. Matthew's enthusiasm and simple everyman language makes starting over less daunting but of course you have to want to grow, to make those incremental changes. This books helps you with every step. The path to holiness? I can do that. One step at a time.

A Start on the Way To Seek Meaning in Life

A wonderful book to help you navigate a world that says happiness is the twisting of reality and the destruction of what is traditional and true. I keep listening to it again and again. The beginning of a good remedy to those who are downtrodden, angry, anxious and fearful.

A Compelling End To When All The Evils Began.

I am glad I listened to all three books. The narrator is excellent. Give that guy a big bonus. He had me at crucial plot moments standing still waiting for the conclusion. Will Blomkist or Salander survive? Will Erica Berger adhere to her principles? Will Millennium thwarted?
Another reviewer said it was a feminist book. I won't spoil it but that is correct in a way. I did put that aside because the story was so engaging. Listen to all three in my opinion from beginning to end.

It is a bit long in the tooth in a few parts but it is a gripping and tense story. The narrator is excellent switching between characters. Can't wait to listen to the next story.

A warning to western civilisation.

Why are some people calling everyone and everything racist? Why changing the gender of children is now fashionable? Are women and gays equal or better than others? Why some people say facts hurt? Why is it okay to hate white people? This book, I think, explains all these questions. In a time when we were just getting better at listening and understanding each other, some people now say that never has happened and never will be possible. Douglass Murray takes us on this strange journey of postmodernism. Sometimes you will laugh at the absurdity of some, sometimes empathise with the dilemma of others but in the end you will understand what is at stake. Some people, unwittingly or otherwise, are sowing the seeds of destruction. How are you going to live your life now you know where the minefields are? Will you help in the navigation and diffusion?

Fun and Thoughtful Story

I got this book for a school project and decided to get this audiobook. I like it's overall presentation and the music that accompanies it. I found myself smiling and thinking about how art is important in our busy lives.

A wonderful classic

I saw the movie and loved it. Then I heard years later it was a book and check here. I wonderful classic story of a man who had a simple and rich life. I have listened to it three times already. Still love it. Excellent performance by the narrator.

I needed this book. Spent a long time stuck and angry and wondering what to do. This book tells it like it is. Get your priorities right and take responsibility in making yourself and life better.
