Great Werewolf series

Overall this was a well crafted series. I loved/ liked or disliked the characters based on their personalities and enjoyed watching them grow up. The relationships were well thought out and developed. I also liked the interweaving of "wolfmen" and "werewolves". The creation of the different "species" was very interesting, and the descriptions of the scientific study attempts, procedures, and inner workings of the CDC was very detailed, just like the military operations. You can tell that a lot of research went into the creation of the story. Thankfully, Mr Rice only sometimes got lost in the details before picking up the story thread again and weaving a wonderful story of family, courage and loyalty amidst carnage, hunger, and bloodshed. I would have liked to have heard more about the Native American legend and why he started to show up and do what he did or how Sam's interaction with him that one night went, but I understand that we know just enough about him to accept him into the story - it would have been a nice side story to be explored just a little bit more. I truly enjoyed the story line, the only way it could have been better would have been with a real person narrating it, with all the emotions involved and a different voice for each character.

King is still one of my favorites!

I enjoyed this book. Not all of the stories were horror, but all were good. I read one of them before and was surprised to find it here. The Answer Man was a wonderful story about a life well- lived and the eternal question of: what would you ask if you could get a look into your future?

Excellent book and narration!

I loved how the stories were all independent but yet wove together. If you enjoy Native American stories, I believe you will enjoy this book. I wouldn't call them horror stories in the traditional sense, I feel it would be better classified as fantasy and mystery .
The narration was superb; every character was alive . I am looking forward to another book from Mr. Bihyeh narrated by C C Conroy.
