Historia
Feyre has undergone more trials than one human woman can carry in her heart. Though she’s now been granted the powers and lifespan of the High Fae, she is haunted by her time Under the Mountain and the terrible deeds she performed to save the lives of Tamlin and his people. As her marriage to Tamlin approaches, Feyre’s hollowness and nightmares consume her. She finds herself split into two different people: one who upholds her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court, and one who lives out her life in the Spring Court with Tamlin.

I loved the first book, but this one took me two months and many long pauses to get through:
Revisado: 03-25-25
I did not like the storyline. It seemed like I was listening to the same thing over and over. It was very uneventful. The first book was so good and the only thing that pushed me to even get halfway through this book was deciding if I would use my last credit for another one or something else. After halfway through and still not being interested, I got something else. The first book I gave five stars on everything and I was so excited about this one until I started it. There were only a few times that it was interesting throughout the entire thing, to me.

This book was very good and kept making me want to hear more. I like the first book this one equally.
Revisado: 02-22-25
The performance was done really well, and I love that the story was able to pull me out of the things in the world and into a time long long ago and think about how things wore back then and a much simpler time. I like that they pulled in the old characters from previous books.

Virtual voice is not a good narration
Revisado: 02-11-25
I didn’t like how it sounded like it was being read. I just thought the narrator wasn’t very good until the end said it was virtual voice then I realized why she sounded so much like a robot and not a person. Had it been narrated by a person and not sounded so robot like I would’ve given it four stars because the story was good.

Historia
Two little girls stand with their heads bowed in my living room. I’m told they’re my granddaughters. Daisy is nine, and Alice seven. Daisy is the spitting image of her mother. This is the first time I’ve met them since my daughter and I fell out after she married that waste of space, Vince. They’ve come to live with me because their mother — my daughter — was murdered. In her own home while they slept close by. I think Vince killed her. But the police can’t prove it. I’ve always known he was no good. He treated my daughter like dirt. I said he’d cheat on her — but she wouldn’t listen.

Revisado: 01-28-25
I like the narrator she didn’t excellent job. It keeps your attention. I was able to predict one thing, but most certainly could not predict all the twists and turns in this book. Finally, I find a book with a really good ending however, it’s good all the way through.!

Revisado: 01-05-25
I like that there were no murders, and a very good storyline. Too often people think they have to put curse words or murders into the book to make it worthwhile, but this was entertaining all the way through and I listen to it in two days.

It was a waste of my time
Revisado: 01-02-25
I kept thinking it would get better, but the best part was the beginning on the airplane and it was all downhill from there. I would not recommend it and I don’t like the way the author chimes in is if the book is going to get better or there’s some big surprise when it’s the same old same old.

This isn’t a subject. I knew anything about and it made my heart go out for the people everybody overcome something, but this is so much harder than anything. I could imagine it made me more grateful for things in my life, even though they’re hard and even though I’m ill.
