The author shares his unimaginable experiences at the hands of the Nazis. For anyone who has struggled to understand how this could happen. All that is necessary for evil to flourish is for good people to do nothing. That being said, my task is to take this book and think about how to apply it to life today in the midst of our “cancel culture”.

Loves that Alice read it himself and I loved his chuckling laugh. His straightforward story telling style captivated my attention and held it. A fascinating life, and a compelling look at what it means to have a personal relationship with our redeemer and creator who LOVED us first!! Yes!

Inspiring, convicting, and concise

I picked up this book because it was part of Audible’s free
catalogue of titles and although the premise was intriguing and the title catchy, I had no expectations. It was absolutely riveting, hitting the sweet spot between positive thinking, sharing words of true wisdom with humility and kindness and a truly unique approach to life—business as well as personal.

Good story line but kind of short due to filler

I went back and forth between 3and4 stars, which is unheard of for Christine Feehan as I generally LOVE her books and own several. Same skillful story telling and compelling characters but. . . Lots of very long sections of basically boring, play at 3x speed filler consisting of many detailed sex scenes that don’t develop the characters or the story.
