November 22nd, 2013 marks the 50th Anniversary of the assassination of John F. Kennedy... and at last we have the unbiased facts, concisely-presented by a skilled, acclaimed author who is also a credible voice: an ordained Methodist minister. “Finally, a well-written, witty, and factual overview of the case that examines both the big picture and all the important details in the mosaic—without getting lost in a morass of tangential information. This is an important book that clearly demonstrates why the JFK assassination case is still relevant, unsolved, and intriguing. Whether an expert...

Historia
Deep down here by the dark water lived old Gollum, a small slimy creature. I don’t know where he came from, nor who or what he was. He was Gollum—as dark as darkness, except for two big round pale eyes in his thin face. He had a little boat, and he rowed about quite quietly on the lake; for lake it was, wide and deep and deadly cold.

So that we may know and never forget
Revisado: 05-22-23
The author shares his unimaginable experiences at the hands of the Nazis. For anyone who has struggled to understand how this could happen. All that is necessary for evil to flourish is for good people to do nothing. That being said, my task is to take this book and think about how to apply it to life today in the midst of our “cancel culture”.

Rock and roll in the BC (Before Cooper) era was a tamer, milder world. In Who I Really Am, Cooper’s latest addition to Audible’s Words + Music series, we learn how the boa-wearing (not the feathered kind) maestro arrived at a show and sound - let’s call it AC for After Cooper - that has entertained millions of kids while terrifying parents in equal measure. Cooper drew inspiration from Saturday matinee horror movies, applied a "no such thing as too much" attitude, and hitched it to a kick-ass rock and roll band.

Loves that Alice read it himself and I loved his chuckling laugh. His straightforward story telling style captivated my attention and held it. A fascinating life, and a compelling look at what it means to have a personal relationship with our redeemer and creator who LOVED us first!! Yes!

Inspiring, convicting, and concise
Revisado: 02-20-23
I picked up this book because it was part of Audible’s free
catalogue of titles and although the premise was intriguing and the title catchy, I had no expectations. It was absolutely riveting, hitting the sweet spot between positive thinking, sharing words of true wisdom with humility and kindness and a truly unique approach to life—business as well as personal.

Good story line but kind of short due to filler
Revisado: 05-04-22
I went back and forth between 3and4 stars, which is unheard of for Christine Feehan as I generally LOVE her books and own several. Same skillful story telling and compelling characters but. . . Lots of very long sections of basically boring, play at 3x speed filler consisting of many detailed sex scenes that don’t develop the characters or the story.
